So here's my second hempy scrog in a 4x4, veged in a smaller tent under a 400mh.

These girls are under a 600w hps.

Perlite / vermiculite mix. Ph 6.2, ec levels been high and caught it burning. So have been feeding water only this week.

Should I flip 12/12 or wait a bit more.

I think flipping now will be fine bro gives you time and room to do more training in case some take off to high hope this run works out better for you

Sweet I'll flip today. Last time they were actually getting a bit big when I flipped. There was no more room for training really

Yeah the only way to control there height then is to tie them down to the scrog net it self or super chop looking forward to seeing this girl in flower

So Dirty, what do you think.

My flower tent is a 4x4 tent with a 4 inch fan / filter connected to a cool hood housing a 600w hps. My temps this time of year are only 24c at 14 inches off the canopy. I have a centrifugal fan on this one which is rated at 64l/sec

Then my veg tent is 1mx1m with a 400w MH. I'm running a 150mm inline fan rated at 120l/sec with a 150mm filter and my temps are fine.

What should I do next? Up the flowering hps to 1000w and use the 150mm inline fan / filter or would the centrifugal fan be better even though it's smaller. Both only have to travel less than 2m before they exit the tents.

I think you would be better off just adding another 600 watt you get better light coverage if you can control the temps you will yield much better i am using a 1000 watt now yes its good but i will be going back to running 2x600

as you will be making more heat from running more power you might need to upgrade your fan but try use what you have now and add things later to try save yourself some $$ i don't know how old your filter is but they need to be replaced every now and again so if its time just buy a new fan and filter package can get them cheap now

on your coolhood are you using the glass .... ? you will find your yield will go up if there is no glass

Hi dirty. Will see if I'm able to add another lamp holder. The hood basically has a cool tube running through it

My other idea was to just ditch the cool hood entirely and run a normal shade through winter.

So I ended up going with the 1000w as it will work better in my cool tube. Two 600's was going to be a squeeze.

Fuck they are massive bulbs compared to the 600
nice mandingo of the light world your going to love the new sided colas under the 1000 i noticed more weight to the buds

Hey bro. Do you think the bulb I have is a dud? I've had it running now for 2.5 hours and it's only gotten to 17c lol. Normally my 600w would be up to 24c

I've got it at the same distance I was using my 600

Yeah bro. Brand new from the shop. Will be looking to take it back. It can't be right.
Seems odd i did notices my 1000 watt runs cooler then my 600 watts thats why i am going back to 2x600 to get the heat up as i have now fixed my air flow my temps don't go above 21
