Seed purchase advice

Hi all,

Been a while since i did my last grow but had success with growing Shiva. I'm interested in purchasing seeds but am sceptical about purchasing them on card over the internet. Also, i'd like a low odour strain as I have some nosy neighbours. I know there are ways of reducing smell so would be interested if anyone can offer a newb advice on the following:

• Recommended ways to purchase seeds - your experiences with buying online against sending cash through post with an order form (this is how i did it last time but can't see any places with order forms to download - I'm in the UK by the way)
• Low odour strains
• Quick and easy to grow

Many thanks!

Hi there, try attitude seed bank, or herbiesheadshop. They are both uk based, and I have used them several times with no issues at all. I think attitude has lots of different payment methods, including sending them the cash, or even bitcoins. I only ever use a prepaid mastercard and buy online, but I live in africa and am not sure about uk.

Seedsman has a great variety of seeds and I've never had any probs with online ordering from them.......I got all my orders within 10 days in discreet packages.....if you can't find a strain with them then it's probably not worth having....

Hey bro, enjoying the weather in that shit hole called "Great" Britain? (I'm Irish by the way)
Anyway, all jokes aside, most marijuana only really smells at the final stage of bloom. Unless you shake it, or cut, it is pretty much is unnoticeable to the average person, unless they also smoke, (those blokes will ask to see your plants, and can I get some). In other words, drying is generally the only time you should really should worry about smell being a major concern, and you can buy masking agents (air fresheners) like Ona, which works great, but does create it's own scent, which again leads to people saying " What the fuck is that smell, it ain't reefer, so what can it possibly be"? I gave up on that shit ( you could use Carbon filters if you grow a lot of plants), but for a couple, I wouldn't sweat it unless I lived next door to a narco, who probably has better shit than you anyway.
As far as payment is concerned, go to the site you like (Attitude HIGHLY recommended by me) and see what payment methods are accepted. All will accept money orders or cash, and I'm pretty sure that Attitude accepts gift cards, so go to the site that you want to buy from, make up a list of what you want to buy, get a total cost, go to a store and buy a card for that amount, then use that to buy the seeds, and everyone will be happy. The bank got your cash, the Attitude gets theirs, and you get your seeds to destroy, because it is a well known fact, that the English can't grow shit, unless it is a rose.
Lastly, and I will stop fucking with you, a really good strain to grow that I would recommend to anyone, and especially a novice, is G13- Blue OG, which finishes in 7 weeks, is an easy plant to grow as it doesn't require any special treatment, doesn't get too big, and the smoke is excellent. Buy it at Attitude, which I know sells it, and you will be happy that you did.
Good luck, and peace out.

Nice - thanks green... plus you're right. It may well be legal but can't hurt to play safe.

Actually it's beautiful weather here at the moment so all good yeah! I live in a nice part of it so not a shit hole! Ireland eh? And you call Britain a shithole??? lol

You're wrong - my crop of shiva last time i grew absolutely stank and I overheard my neighbours talking about smelling it... (they had no idea it was me luckily!) Plus, I don't worry about the drying stage as I water cure mine so no smell at all... lol @ the English can't grow shit. I guess we didn't have Howard Marks in our country to help show us... he was too busy liaising with the IRA!!!

Cheers for the advice! Made me smile!

I'm sure it doesn't compare to your own but take a look at my journal and have a look at the buds from VERY FIRST GROW and then I'll let you say I can't grow shit!!!! :)

On another note. I've no experience of self flowering seeds but like the idea of some of the quick growing to harvest times... Are these any good? Also, in terms of lighting can you use separate bulbs (veg and flower - blue and red) to grow these and just switch bulbs and timings when they start to flower? Or do you need to buy an all in one veg/flower light for auto flowering seeds?

Cheers!

Yes definitely.....grow with blue until you see pistils.....then either add the red if you have anouther ballast or swap if you don't.......plants will thank you for a bit of blue in flower...

Obviously you wouldn't need to run 2lights for anything under 4plants......just saying they love both end of the spec in flower.....
