@707humboldt Do I have anything to worry about? Im on day 41 flowering, my strawberry blue (i think its sativa dom which i messed up with, ) is going to take much longer It seems.

Plus, its been getting hot (my central air wasnt working but does now) so was dimming 600 watt to 75% at times, temps got to 87 for short periods. They dont show any ill effects and look great though. I cant wait to show you guys pics with digital camera, my sensi star is killer.

If the temps just got up to 87 briefly they will be fine. What kind of bugs where they? Do you have a description or a picture?

Sorry humboldt, couldnt get on. They are too small for my phone to take a pic, one looked like a straight up gnat. I have no plant issues at all, day 43 flower.

I am ordering my carbon filter right now, I need honest opinions. It doesnt come with clamps I dont think, so thats more money and im pretty broke rightnow.

If you have no issues with the plants I wouldnt worry too much about it. Just keep a close eye on it. As far as carbon filter, can-filter is what I use and the way to go imo.

Ok thanks for quick quick response, just so I do this correct. I read it has a built in flange, so all I need is the ducting correct?

I have a 8" hood, so Im getting a reducer obviously. Would I only need 1?

Yea the can-light filters have a built in flange. The regular can-filters do not. So your pulling through the filter, then through the light and out the tent? Depending on what size the flange on the filter is, you will only need one reducer to connect it to the ducting then to the light

Ok Ill do this..

6" Filter>8to6 reducer>8" Hood>(Ill obviously need two reducers?)>duct out of tent to fan wherever

You can do it two ways, you can put the fan before or after the light. You can either push or pull through it.

So filter-fan-ducting-light-ducting-outside
or filter-ducitng-light-fan-ducting-outside

And reducers in there where ever you need to go from 8-6

If it were me I would do the first option, the filter would be more effective that way. I push through my lights to cause a positive pressure to not suck any smelly air from the room in. But I am pulling fresh air from outside through my lights and ducting it outside as well. I have a sealed room with co2 though, thats how you do it for sealed room as to not exchange any air with the outside.

Im seeing a lot of white pistols still. To me thats a sign not close to being done. Like 2 weeks then check. Then run another week. Im not to sure on the flush thing. I run about 2 ph clear waterings the last week but by no means am i flushing my plants out.
