My homie @sneakyfoot came over yesterday and brought beer, weed, and a flat iron steak! What a good friend, right? But he is still a lil bitch for having an account here and NEVER posting

Anywho, we started drinking and smoking and not too long after we fired up my tiny grill. I've got grills and smokers of all sizes, for every occasion


Two small pieces of applewood got it smokey

Sorry for not having pics of the finished product. When it was done shit got real! It never stood a chance. Between the both of us that steak didn't have time to stop and pose for the camera

@Gary Goodson so I used to manage a TGIFridays one in Arlington you probably know it.. We had Flat Irons and they were the bomb dig, but since then I have tried to buy them at the store and failed everytime. Everytime they are marbles with the hard fat, not soft fat like a ribeye or like fridays.

By definition a flat iron is a good steak, but considered a undesirable cut and shit.. lol

What did you think about it? Was it from a meat market or wally world?

Nope, not gay at all, even if you said you'd love my meat in your mouth! I wouldn't think that's gay one bit.

Idk where @sneakyfoot got it from, he just showed up with it and I didn't asks questions. Honestly, I think it came from Albertsons or Tom Thumb? Definitely not a real meat market.

We stuff them with cream cheese, but I also like to mix other cheeses into the cream cheese like Parmesan or in this case Swiss Cheese, then wrap bacon around and BOOM you're instantly fat!

Nope...

Skirt and Flank are pretty close...but still technically not the same.

Flat iron is a flat muscle by the shoulder blade. Flank and skirt come from the belly area.
