The rest of us are as well. See! You are finally getting it. It's just weed and easy to grow and no one needs COB to do it. Now since you are gaining some confidence in yourself. How about stop pumping for COB and trashing other respectable growers threads because they don't use it. No one cares about COB except for a few noobs who pump the crap out of it. And from my perspective it makes you look like stupid noobs. Do the real scientists, like breeders use COB? Well, considering that COB is fairly new and breeders been putting out excellent strains for years I would say probably not.

OK guys I don't get the trashing of this place. Everyone here is a enthusiast of the most amazing plant on this earth. Some grow with hps, some induction, some COBS and some mono leds. I don't get the trashing of other people's threads who are clearly completely smashing it. If you don't believe the guy say it and keep it at that. Why ruin a beautiful grow with a bunch of bullshit that is nothing but a waste of everyone's time. I get that COBS are the next generation of lighting. I also have a Hps grow with burble supplementation. My point is not everyone's grow style is the same and bashing people because of it just seems very childish to me. If you have the best tech sure tell people about it. But putting people down and talking shit to them because they are getting awesome results with something different is absolutely childish bullshit. I appreciate all the knowledge that is put out in this place but the crap that constantly seems to go along with it needs to go to the wayside. This is clearly one of the best burple grows anyone has seen with such little wattage. Even if he's supplementing with hps or something which I doubt he is I don't see the need for all the bullshit. Give him a atta boy and let that be the end of it. He isn't going into other people's threads and flaming them up so why are you coming here and doing it? What I'm getting to is why can't we all just accept there are a million ways to get to the end product and as long as it's good who cares which road we went down to get there? You can't read one single thread in this dawn subforum without seeing a bunch of useless crap when ones energy could be used for much more constructive things instead. Come on let's all just put our minds together and change the world instead of burning it down with unless shit

i respect that man no doubt about it. I have learned alot from you over the last little while. That comment about tantrum wasnt directed to you either it was a generalization of many of the members here. You are one of the ones i respect for calling it how it is and how you see it without any bullshit. Im just saying clearly this guy knows what he is doing regardless if hes running a hps in there or not. Even if he was it would be a respectable grow. Dont take it personally man it wasnt pointed at you i was merely pointing out every good thread here has so much waste from flaming other members when it could be used as a learning experience for people. You are one of the reasons i got into grabbing cobs and why i asked you questions about wavelengths. You have a wealth of experience which people can learn from. Much respect man.

Here's what I don't get. As a user of LED, if I have plants that tall, I have to strip lower bud sites because LED just won't penetrate that deep. It gets so bad with LeD that the lower leaves will become dead and fall off because they are not getting enough light...those are with plants that are less in height than the ones featured on this journal....yet when you look at the pictures of the plants in the room under the LEDs, you can't even see the bottom part of the canopy because it's so dark...but when the plants are out for their individual photos, they have healthy leaves all the way to the bottom? Even at the very bottom of the canopy? And the lights are CLEARLY not able to penetrate that low, if only because of how thick that upper canopy is when they are all smashed in there.
So I don't understand how you can have flowers that are all similiar in maturity, when there is no way the lower buds are forming with that little light that deep into the canopy

Funny you should say that I've just tried that very thing, all I used was Sensi bloom,Carboload and Over drive. I will write up a schedule very soon.
