When did yours start turning purple? I'm about five weeks in and they're bright green. Maybee I didn't get the red purple pheno.
I'm not actually 100 percent when it was mate, maybe 5 to 6 weeks in and its getting more colour every day now. I did start to notice a couple of calyxs at the top of the plant had a red tinge to them... That was before they started to turn into buds... Just like the later preflowers. Out of the 3only 2 have changed colour... The 1 that's stayed green lookis different than the re... The way its formed is different. Its covered in alot more trichomes but the buds are skinny alth the calyxs are really fat compared to red ones, strange eh lol. Be nice to see a pic of yours to compare, what lights ate yours under? Also you may notice a tinge of red jou just need to study top calyxs really hard with magnification. They may get the colour soon if not... Unless u have been real unlucky lol. I think day and night temps bring out couler especially in the final 2 weeks. Do u have a temp drop between dark and light?

cheers

I'm using two 75 watt Area 51 led so 150 watts of led. The temperature doesn't change that much maybee from 78 degrees to about 72 when lights are off. And the small leaves are turning red on the bottom but none of the bud itself. Shes very tall and lanky compared to the other plant I just grew. I used the same lights so I know it's not stretching for light. It's just a tall lanky plant. Monday was week five.

looks nice and bushy, you have alot more leaves than mine did... I had a bad start with mine, the soul was to hot and I also had no ph measuring equipment lol. It was all a bit of a rush so I'm not expecting much. Yours have a long way to go, I wouldn't expect to see colour at that stage. When you say the bottom leaves have got red on them... You should make sure that isn't a deficiency... Only the leaves on the buds in later stages change. Are your LED's actually 75watt or are they labeled as 75w? Alot of led companies lable them as the watts they are equivalent too... Not sure if u already knew that? Some can say 75w but actually only pull 550 w from the wall. Its a bit cheeky really... Either way your girls look healthy and alot of foliage

I mean like the little sugar leaves coming right out of the bud are red on the underside of them not the fan leaves. And yeah 75 actual watts actually 77.5 but close ebough lol. I did a lot of research and those were the best led I could find for the right price everyone here helped me with which ones to get. I'll probably let her go another six weeks or so we'll see how it goes. Maybee week ten or eleven i will pull her. Also I did notice that it does not take a lot of nutes. I burned it with a small dose back in week four and torched some of the leaves so I pulled those off. She's deffinatley a light feeder.

yeah about 11 weeks is about right, that could bo the start of the colour ou the sugar leaves... Exciting stuff hehe. Awesome I was looking in to LEDs... How much did they cost if you don't mind me asking? They definatly seem to be working. Be interesting to see what you yield. Are u using organic or chemical nutrients? What brand are u using?

I paid around 200 each so 400 total it's not cheap but it's worth it to keep the heat and electricity down and plus I only grow a max of two at a time but if you want to grow more than 1-2 at a time then you should go with hps. Right now they're phasing out the ones they have for the new ones they're about to get in stock. So they don't even have the ones I bought any more but they still have the one panel 150 watt for 398. Like I said it's pricey but for my setup I'm happy I went with these instead of hps. I just chopped my other auto it looks to be atleast 2-3 ounces you can see that one in the last page of anyone want to grow an auto with me. They are chemical nutrients I'm using the fox farm line up and my soil is happy frog mixed with fox farm ocean Forrest.
