chances are if you made your soil and they look deficient theres one of two things going on .. your ph is fucked in the soil which happens a lot depending on the mixes used.. a lot of people use shit like ocean forest and dump even more acidic amendments into it which really fucks the plants up or the over do it and they burn the plants.. i highly doubt your having deficiency issues chances are your having overwatering issues and or ph issues.first organic grow and my plants are severely deficient. i think i didnt allow soil to cook long enough.
my question is, can i flush and feed the plants bottled nutes in order to save this grow or should i wait it out? i have about 7-8 weeks left for them to finish
yeah i agree i wonder how many people really get that the first two weeks of flower are basically still veg... i always feel like everyone thinks they are much further than they are. mostly cause everyone grows on timetables and don't scope their budsSounds like the plants have only been flowering for a month or so. During that time not much happens with the plant growth wise. During the first month the plant is spending a lot of it's energy starting the flower or places where the buds will be formed. Your best course of action sounds to be to go ahead and finish this grow and see what you get.
im not a know it all but im pretty sure my plants shouldnt be looking like this after 2 weeks flower, and not to sound arrogant i have plenty of years growing synthetic.yeah i agree i wonder how many people really get that the first two weeks of flower are basically still veg... i always feel like everyone thinks they are much further than they are. mostly cause everyone grows on timetables and don't scope their buds
this is exactly my problem the bud sites are just throwing pistils out and not stretching like the main stems, ive notice vertical growth on all the plants albeit slow but the side branches are not growing, like i said ill post pics in a fewSounds like the plants have only been flowering for a month or so. super soils are shitty ways to grow IMOP... you might as well grow with organic chemical lines cause your plants always sitting in amended soil.. its always being force fed when you water... they burn the plants 70-90% of the timeim not a know it all but im pretty sure my plants shouldnt be looking like this after 2 weeks flower, and not to sound arrogant i have plenty of years growing synthetic.
i will upload pics as soon as i get somewhere with wifi as im a bit paranoid and dont like using my phone to take pics. but i do know what a deficient plant is and im thinking is what you guys said, the soil is probably cooking the roots as the micros are eating up the alfalfa and kelp lowering the ph- idk
so what you are basically saying is that my plants look like shit cuz they arent in full flower yet? ill post pics later but i know its a soil problem just trying to figure whats the best move i can makeyour first two weeks your plant is changing over from veg to flower.. the first week is completely veg the second week its making the change over to flower. then the first actual week of FULL flower is week three.
this i might do but im going to try this again but this time ill let the soil cook for a month before i transplant into them. i think this is my problem the alfalfa and kelp are decomposing and making the soil ph drop more than likely making nutes unavailable. i foliar sprayed a couple days ago and they look a lil better but i know i cant keep foliar spraying deep into flowersuper soils are shitty ways to grow IMOP... you might as well grow with organic chemical lines cause your plants always sitting in amended soil.. its always being force fed when you water... they burn the plants 70-90% of the time
well i mean like we said you have to get pics .. but the buds aren't even going to be forming yet that young.. two more weeks a bud structure will be thereso what you are basically saying is that my plants look like shit cuz they arent in full flower yet? ill post pics later but i know its a soil problem just trying to figure whats the best move i can make
well i wouldn't think that i use both in our system.. the main thing is what are you using as your base soil... and how much.... what are you adding amendment wise and how much... also i do notice that with amended system the mass weight and large bud structure generally comes in the last two weeks with most strains.this i might do but im going to try this again but this time ill let the soil cook for a month before i transplant into them. i think this is my problem the alfalfa and kelp are decomposing and making the soil ph drop more than likely making nutes unavailable. i foliar sprayed a couple days ago and they look a lil better but i know i cant keep foliar spraying deep into flower
you also have no need for any foliar feeds stop doing that i don't know why that got started.. but its not good yu can clog plants stomata's and other things.... it also stops the plant from producing natural waxes.. its like humans overusing lotion and shit and their skins become so dependent on the lotion it cracks without it.. same with foliar the plant becomes dependent on the unnatural waxes and shit. you never need to do that when your properly feeding and caring for your plant.this i might do but im going to try this again but this time ill let the soil cook for a month before i transplant into them. i think this is my problem the alfalfa and kelp are decomposing and making the soil ph drop more than likely making nutes unavailable. i foliar sprayed a couple days ago and they look a lil better but i know i cant keep foliar spraying deep into flower
mostly coco wich has no nutes mix with a little roots organic that i had left over, chunky perlite. thats it, roots organic is probably like 5-10%well i wouldn't think that i use both in our system.. the main thing is what are you using as your base soil... and how much.... what are you adding amendment wise and how much... also i do notice that with amended system the mass weight and large bud structure generally comes in the last two weeks with most strains.
