I know this thread is a little off topic but I feel it belongs here I have been noticing lately there have been a lot of new users popping up on the hallucinatory substances section of the forum lately trying to sell things like prescription cough syrup the most recent one I saw today over on this thread http://rollitup.org/t/promethazine-codeine.566704/page-5 and I could not help but notice the person who posted it just created there account today This is just a warning to avoid anyone selling drugs on here more than likely they are law enforcement trying to trick you but I know you are all smart enough not to buy drugs on the clearnet. The mods should have rules against this kind of thing.

Those posts are created by spam bots. Usually, after they are allowed to post things on a site, they will hit every thread on the site at the same time. All that mods can do is delete it when they see it... that's why folks like you guys reporting it to a mod will get the job done faster.
Stopping the spam bots is almost impossible... they are literally everywhere.

They can get a huge response from curious people looking for a so called "good deal" or popular 'hype' strains from idiots who leave their phone numbers on pot-forums. When they spam many threads at once with their lame lists, it makes it that much harder to get rid of quickly. Admin & Mods try to keep people from seeing these, as to help keep us all safe... you don't know who's gonna answer that phone.. could be the police or the Feds, you never know... and who wants to find out that way?!
Even if these guys are legit, they have broken their state and federal laws just by posting these sales adds on an international cannabis forum. Leaving your phone number on a site like this isn't very bright either.

Read the rules here that pertain to advertising for products for free on this site without admin consent... it's not allowed.
