It will do the job. Or you could build it yourself for £40.
its just a timer and a contactor.
you already have another timer, just buy a contactor.

I've seen your posts, you're a smart guy. Don't throw your money at these companys. there such fucking rip off merchants. plus its massive, and you don't need it to be massive, :P

keep on truckin bro :)

I am confused again. Hm..... 3 chips from 36V version would be able to run with these watt at this current. Yes? But the drivers' output voltage i higher than 36V, so they won't be able to run 3 Chips at all.

Is that right?

The voltage output is 108 volts....So 3x of the 36v would fit exactly...

For 3x 72v you would need roughly 216 volts....@1.4 amps...

Can you find this one in the EU?
215v @ 700ma $40 US

I received my hlg h120 c700a drivers. I read through the guide that cree offers on line.

Still wanted to ask you guys what is the safe and neat way to connect the driver to the ac. The light is simply a heatsink with 2 cobs and a driver so i havent built any structure to mount stuff. It is a passive setup

Also i am waiting on my cobs but i grabbed ideal holders. Is it cool to get my holders mounted while i wait for the 3590s. Which wire and connectors are used to connect the driver to the cob and the cobs to each other. Im not a solderer but i have crimping gear. These fixtures dont get moved much but i am not the gentlest gardener and sturdy safe is crucial.

Lastly which screws fasten those holders?

1. Seen lot's of people using WAGOs to connect wiring for both the AC line voltage to the driver and to change over from the stranded wire output from the driver to the 18 gauge wire you'll use to wire to the COB holders.
2. You can and should lay-out the holders machine screw holes, drill the holes and then tap them or else plan on using self-threading machine screws. Use #4 machine screws. Then you're ready to go when the COBs arrive.
3. Use 18 gauge solid core wire since you're using the Ideal holders. Stranded wire is more difficult to insert into the holders than solid. No solder or crimping required with the Ideal holders.

If you just only got stranded wire, twist the wire and insert it in.

Would these wago winsta 770 (3 pole) connectors w stress relief be a safe bet for connection ac power to driver.View attachment 3453707
...then you need the wago winsta 770 female conectors too...;)

...for my pov the best connectors (wago 222 and wago winsta 770) for lamps...
...maybe bit expensive for my pov too... ...but i like a lot...

...for daysy chain various lamps... ...the T piece wago wingsta 770 (3 pole)... (inspirated on the GN holographic series lamp... ;))....
...off course we need other wago winsta 770 female conector on the case lamp too... (i put a pic ^^...;) )

...power cord wago winsta 770 (3 pole)... daysy chain for connect other lamp...

pd...i edit add the pic of female connector wago winsta 770...

Can I run 4 x vero 29 on a meanwell
HLG-185H-C1400B == MAX Vo = 143V
4 x vero 29 (1400mA) Vf50 = (37*4) = 148V

Nope. This driver can handle (4) CXB3590 36V version and if you're lucky it might (or might not) handle (4) CXA3590 36V version.
Well I was looking to run 3x3. That's 3 bars with 3 LED's. What's best to power the cxa's??

Sorry I'm new to this. Just looking for something simple.

Thanks
