Out of 45 nations surveyed, we ranked 15th, with an average 1,789 annual hours worked. Mexico is the most heavily worked nation on the planet, with an average 2,228 annual hours worked. Those lazy bastards!!

YAFT.
Yet Another Fail Thread.
Yeah, you must not have read the link, it kind of already explains the gaffe.

Leading horses to water can be hard work, then the fuckers don't even drink it and die of heat exhaustion.

Bush said "It means that people need to work longer hours” and, through their productivity, gain more income for their families. That's the only way we're going to get out of this rut that we're in.”"

then the gaffe explanation was "he was only referring to the underemployed and part time workers"

And you buy that?

Sorry brah. I got my facts from an international governing body that provided said statistics, not some yahoo news site.

Yep, Jeb shure ken motervate peeple wid tha wishdome he lernt at his pappy's nees.

Didya know that Greece ranks up there as one of the highest hours worked per person at over 2000 hours.
This is the kind of economy we'd have if Bush was president.

A quote from the article: "the graph above might suggest that people who work fewer hours are more productive. This idea is not new. Adam Smith reckoned that

[T]he man who works so moderately as to be able to work constantly, not only preserves his health the longest, but in the course of the year, executes the greatest quantity of works."

Adam Smith made this intelligent observation hundreds of years ago. Jeb opens his mouth and stupid comes out.
