Yeah I will take some pics in plain light so you can see the purple better the 10w crees make everything super green lolThat is a lot of blue in that spectrum.
Why autos? Do you have height restrictions? From my experience with autos they just a waste of time and space you can grow a photo plant in the same time and get way danker buds from. More blue = more leaf , more leaf = more to trim .This was my very first grow and I will be starting my next grow and next batch will be all auto seeds from herbies. I will be growing
Sweet Dark Devil Auto Autoflowering Feminised Seeds x 3
Royal Queen Northern Lights Auto Autoflowering Feminised Seedsx3
Fast Buds Blackberry Autoflowering Feminised Seedsx3
Heavyweight Fast & Vast Auto Autoflowering Feminised Seedsx3
Pyramid Anubis x3 (strain based off of chronic)
Tbh I just want to be able to advise people in the feature and I cant really do that If I don't know what I'm talking about. I don't think I will every do autos again but I'm interested to see what vegging this thing without a 12/12 cycle will do. I have some mint and other stuff in my tent too and they are happy as a pig in shitWhy autos? Do you have height restrictions? From my experience with autos they just a waste of time and space you can grow a photo plant in the same time and get way danker buds from. More blue = more leaf , more leaf = more to trim .
It feels like more for some reason had my girl help me hang it up.36 pounds ain't so bad. I would have guessed more.
I think this light may be as good as it gets, even for someone who made every possible mistake I still ended with some really nice bud. Now I will have it for the entire grow not just the last few flowering weeks so I will see on my next grow what it can really do. The penetration is fantastic so My grow after next I plan to get the plants good and tall just to see. Let me say that this 650 is overkill in a 4/4 tent and the 350 would have done just fine but I digress lol. I guess thats what the other 7feet going up are for. There was a guy on grasscity that did a side by side comparison with a 1000w hps. He did 6 plants under each light, the xml pulled 11 oz and the hps did 20. But he let the plants get 6ft tall and said it was his first time using led and admitted if he would have controlled the height better hes sure the xml would have done much better.he also said the quality under the xml was noticeably better.
It's in a 4/4 and It really feels like a 1k wat HID just without any heat I think the 350 would have done just fine in a 4/4. I guess because its 7foot tall is why I got the 650and I plan to start some cherry trees in it after all my bud is done.Yes I've seen that video, the Apache is an awesome light and GG swears by it but the price is hectic.
I'm def keen to see how this XML650 performs in terms of yield and quality.
What size area are you growing this light in JJ?
Yeah figured it out the hard way started at 22 no bueno.2 bars should be enough.
If 18" is too much, move it back to 24", rinse and repeat. Once they adjust they'll be fine.
Yeah I love it what kind of area and height did you have your 150 @? I may get a 150 for a veg light.Fuck yeah, nice man. Can't wait to see how it does for you. Had the 150 version a while back. Good luck
I'm very happy with it you could not pry it from my cold dead hands X)I would just ship it back...
Sent from my SM-G900V using Rollitup mobile app
Worthy every damn dime man I would highly recommend it but yeah I can understand when mars sells lights for half the price that do just fine. I wanted to be able to grow the best bud I was able so that's why I went for it.Keen to see how these lights do bro. It's still on my shortlist but the price is holding me back.
from the 350-650 there was almost no heat change I plan to take a picture of this shining in back yard at night to show just how insane it is. On the powerbill I think it went up like $25 to keep it on all the time so it's great on that. My main thing is I didn't want a thermal image from outside my house or any kind of ballast issues that call the powerman to come snooping.I think one of the most noticeable differences with LED is the quality overall, (higher trichomes, terpenes and resin production) but for most part still lacks in yield production.
I'm really super keen to go LED to save on costs, heat, efficiency etc, and grow a higher quality bud, but as a grower selling for profit, yield is a big factor for me, and tbh most of my clientele probably wouldn't care as long as it makes them stoned lol.
