i should have listened to my buddy, he said the way i was doing it didn't look right. i had both feet down in the side pocket pointed outwards and spread apart. when the ski twisted and slapped the water coming down off the wheelie ( i pulled it off by the way :mrgreen:) my foot being tucked into the pocket locked it in. the ski went one way my body twisted the other. this put the twist in it. then when the ski slapped down from the wheelie i heard POP i knew right then something bad had just happened. i should have had both feet together on the outer edge of the side rail. this way i could have just slid off. my mistake. :-|:mrgreen:

there are not enough drugs in the world to kill pain as this. he scraped the surfaces of the joints to even them up. it was a major surgery. 4 hours. it fuckin' hurts like a mother fucker. i can't take 10 oxy and just sit here and drool on myself. my garden is 5 days behind and needs mad attention. i'm in A LOT of pain.

it all started last week .... https://www.rollitup.org/toke-n-talk/96865-i-wanna-buy-one-these.html

i went in at 4pm on friday. the surgeon could not get to me until sunday. they had me pumped full of morphine for 3 days. all i could do was cry, sweat and vomit. it was the worst hospital visit so far, and i've had my share.

the surgeon who did it came highly recommended. he's a specialist that deals with sports injuries. the plates are hand-made titanium something-something from switzerland or somewhere. i was doped up when he talked to me but i'm going to his office to go over the CAT scan with him in 2 weeks. he's gonna spin me thru the before and after in 3D. he showed me the still pic when i first went into surgery and it was pretty bruttle. i broke off the out ball of the lower joint of my knee and pushed it down into itself. he had the push the broken piece up and out from the back side so he drill a hole on the opposite side of my knee. then once he got it up and out he had to pack the fissure with calcium pellets. then he put a plate around the top and one down the face. along with 2 pins thru the break to hold it in place. i still can't get over how they can staple living flesh like that. just trippy. it takes a certain type of person,. it looks really good for what it is.

When you were gone so long I had a bad feeling something had happened. I agree, it's going to be a cool scar. Sucks that you're in so much pain. :sad:

So can you get around much, or do you have to keep still? Either way, at least you don't have to move more than your hand to play pool with me :grin:

someone just may get hurt.

"rotated compression fracture". 2 plates. 2 pins. who knows how many screws. then there's all those staples down my leg. this and the fact i'm out of commission for 6 weeks.

lesson learned. carry on. :blsmoke::peace:
It looks as though that bass may finally get his worm:hump:
