New to Extracts

I love all the BHO haters... To each their own. BHO done right, full melt dry sift, and some ice (bubble) hash have the best taste IMO. I have some sour og full melt bubble that is on par with my sour og wax on all accounts. It's all preference.

Dry sift is dank. But you need a dedicated room at 50-60 degrees when you make dry sift to get full melt sift so it doesnt oxidize. With bubble you can get away with the room being 70 degrees. If you have a wine cooler fridge to dry and cure it in. Always make your own ice. Store bought ice is dirty. You want water and ice at 0 ppm's.

With rosin or pressed hash room temp doesnt matter. But rosin needs be stored the same way as ice wax. Pressed hash can be stored at warmer temps but must be cured for at least 6 weeks minimum . If ambient temps and humidity get too high. rosin can butter out and ice wax / bubble can cake out. But rosin can be brought back to shatter when introduced back to cold air. Bubble on the other hand cannot.

Bubble is cold in the ice and water. So the material isn't exposed to warmer temps until the drying process begins. If dried in cold temps then it's not exposed.

You don't want ice to melt faster. You want it to melt as slow as possible. Larger cubes are better for that. If the ice is melting then that means the temp is raising. That's why everyone wraps some sort of insulation around their washer when making bubble.

The glacier water machines water is at 0 ppm's at least in my area. They have the uv light on top of the crazy multi stage ro system inside each machine. They stop working when filters and / or bulbs need to be replaced.

Are you really wanting to debate the health issues of extracts? Cause we can do this shit, and you'll be proven that BHO isn't more unhealthy than smoking another extract when made properly; and that the ice wax and dry sift you love so much contains more contaminates and impurities.

You still didn't explain how dry sift oxidizes faster than water hash. Isn't water in the hash the cause of the oxidization?
