I makes me sleepy if i over do it... Its a very narcotic effect... When i had hand surgery this was my go to smoke... Which is why i dont have any left =(*... I love it that much.

The taste is soooo good... Its the best tasting plant ive ever grown too...
I also have a question for u guys with more experience I store my seeds in a regular fridge in a plain envelope in tuber ware in the fridge but my germ rate has seemed to go way down can u guys recommend a method that may be more effective without having to spend a lot of money been pretty tight because I have had massive hours cut at my job. So I do things on a poor man's budget. Also Dr. Gruber I noticed you also use Jacks you said that you sometimes use the citrus blend .....will using this on a daily feeding schedule have any negative effect...probably is it a only once in a while thing? Also which would u choose if u could only do one Bubba or media plant which would you consider for a person with a lack of long term experience . Sorry for all the questions but it's how you learn.

fridge is good enough, you could put a couple of silica gel packs in with them to control moisture/humidity,
just keep them in a food grade box with the silica packs
i have germinated seeds that are 8 years old that were kept in the salad draw of a small fridge without any silica packs

if you wanted to be all professional or just a bit of a show off
you could get an expensive wine cooler, they will control the exact temp and humidity
keep your seeds in there and display them like trophy's :)

Ive seen people use the citrus the entire grow with no bad effects. I use it more and more often now.

I would probably recommend the mediplant for a grower with less experience.

How are you germinating? Give me the play by play.
Also, tell me about that soil. Whats in it, how much does it cost, and how much do you get?

Don't worry about asking questions...not a problem.

Thanks man I appreciate it your a good dude a lot of people put u down when u lack information but they forget they was also in those same shoes at one time time. As far as germinating I norm soak the seed for about 4 hours then place between a paper towel that I soak then squeeze as much out as I can. I place it in a small utility closet with a space heater on low . I place the wet paper towels inside a zip lock bag then place it in sealed tuber ware to try to keep the humidity high. In the winter it is a pain in the ass because it gets so cold even running my heat I can't turn it to high or the old lady gets bent out of shape lol. Once I see the tap root I then poke a small hole into some jiffy seed starting soil and sometimes I plant the tap down and sometimes up. I have been using up because the blue dream I got from Dr.gt said to do it that way I hear he is a very talented grower. I had also ordered mediplant I was unfortunately only to get one to germinate but I discarded it because I topped her way to low trying to keep her close to b.d size. Norm I top once and use lst do to height and lighting. I only use a 250 watt hps and mh paired with a 240 watt led. I didn't want to ask dr.gt to exchange because I felt like it was on my part and the way I try ed to start them with the cold .....I feel like I might have possibly made it to hot with the space heater. I have tryed heating mats but they always burn out before I can get the results I need . For some reason I had nothing but good luck with the blue dream as seedings though. The soil I got was only like 5 bucks for 8 quarts I start in party cups then transfer to one gallon then final is a 3 gallon because I do not veg very long. The soil has peat moss perlite lime and some have sand some do not. I also add a big handful of perlite to each gallon of soil I use.. I think the soil name is Schultz premium . I was also wandering if storing them inside a enelope put in a sealed tuber ware had a negative effect because before that my success rate was very high . But in the summer they was drying up because the coolest I can get it is 73. I will have to try that citrus I like Jacks cheap and easy to use . Do u have a certain way you feed during flower or do u alternate between classic and bloom? Thanks for your time bro I really appreciate the help your a stand up guy

Next time don't soak the seeds.
I put the seeds in a zip lock baggie and then put that in a light tight container. I place that under (about 3-4 inches) a 110 watt T5 set up and use that for heat. In the winter time i have to lower it even closer to the container. You don't want it to get too hot or too cold so check on them to make sure you are at the correct height. I just feel the baggie to tell how warm it is.

Best thing to do is follow Doc's germination instructions to the tee and then if they don't germinate you can return them for replacements.

If you have very hard shells you can try scarifying them.
Line a matchbox with a fine grit sandpaper, place the seeds in the box and shake for 30 seconds.

what's up Doc I actually responded to ur grow with the GSC ur ratings for that strain was a 7 ur ratings for the BD was an 8 is this due to the yield of the GSC or potency? If you remember in another of ur journals I told u I didn't like the Cinderella 99 so much and u explained its an acquired high well I went on to try bubba og chemdog and ec sour (which because of bad fortune I couldn't run) I also ordered kens cut gdp well hands down that chemdog whew!! Best meds ever!!!

Yeah....it was because of the yield.
But, to be honest, a few weeks after the report I was much more impressed with it then I was at first.

It will never yield as well as Chemdawg but the taste is as good or better.
And, the high is right up there as well. I have more of the GSC going right now but it will be a while before i get to sample it again.
I have a patient that is a old timer and he compared the high to Acapulco Gold. Up and Energetic.
His reaction convinced me to try it again.

the gsc CAN yield well ..i got almost 2lbs[but not] from one light
[Ikw /raptor hood] doing hydro/drip ring on a timer..it does stretch like og kush

the blue dream yielded better ..i got two from it but it was much easier...easy tolerant plant

turned into a fat bush

the blue dream made great hash too. ...the gsc was my fave for the high..

good to see you dr grube!

and yeh..that chemdawg..what an all around indica plant that has everything

Yeah OMS that chemdawg is like the pinnacle of elite strains. It's very pungent and strong but I have had blue dream a few times mostly ok only once I tasted the fruity semi- blueberry taste I just tasted sum uncured GSC tasted hella good but didn't get toasted think I got higher from the blue dream. What's the difference between his ec sour desiel and the chemdawg taste potency and yield

For what its worth....
Doc's GSC tested higher (in THC) then the Bluedream but the Medi was higher then both.

Lol I just sent my m.o so probably in about 90 days give our take right now I am running docs blue dream ,just chop one one 2 more to go mad kush from breeders choice which is a hybrid of Bubba kush Katus cut white widow and herjjuna ,and sannies killing fields very dark purple I am hoping to have them all done within a month so I can run a couple of the medi . I have decided to do less plants b.c I only can use a 250 watt hp\mh paired with a 240 watt led. I have found the ones under the led are very airy and even it seems to make them have more resin it seems I am losing out on yeild. As far as taste I am sure dr.gruber can chime in he has worked with this strain and seems to be really impressed with it. I can't wait to finish one.
