Hey AZ, I've read up tutorials and have everything set up for agora. Is it really as easy as it seems with the pgp keys and all?
Yep it is pgp keys is where most people get nervous. But it's not all that hard. First go to the
vendors homepage and copy there pgp key (every vendor has one) once you have done that go here.
http://www.hanewin.net/encrypt/PGpubkey.htm Now your going to take that pgp code and paste it in the window and hit get public key information. Now open up a second window here
http://www.hanewin.net/encrypt/PGencode.htm (go head and delete all the text in the bars labeled public key of receiver and 8 bytes hex) Now we are going to copy and paste some information go back to the first page you were on now we're it says
Public Key (MPIs in base64): Copy that info and paste it in the corresponding box on the next page. Also copy the 8 bytes hex and paste it in the 8 bytes hex box on the next page. Now you are ready to enter your secret text the only time you will need to use pgp encryption is when your giving your actual physical address for shipping. Enter your shipping address I usually format it like this Please ship to:
Timothy Leary
3001 acid street
San Francisco, CA 94102 After you have entered your shipping address hit encrypt message and it should turn into a jumble of letters and numbers. Now the vendor will be the only person who can read it copy and paste that in the shipping message on the agora order page and you are good to go. It does not hurt to use your plus 4 zip codes and also make sure you include the name of your country if the package is going to be coming from outside the us. Sorry man im not very good with words that's why I failed English in High School but that's about as simple as I can put it does it make sense to you?
