Rumour has it that several large MMAR facilities have been raided in BC.

interesting if this is true, it could be the Feds finally flexing their muscle. Ambrose pit bulls.

lol fuck them, huge lawsuits if they have applied for a lp. I know one who has applied. and seen 3 others that are huge and would be good and doing way better than the regulated lp stuff.
if there is a injunction, aren't the properly lic mmar growers legal, or in untouchable?
id say that's a court case....
down with ambrose and her partner

They were not MMPR they were MMAR but ones that applied for MMPR. They continued to grow so they were taken down. This is going from person to person but I rehard it was a federal task force and HC was involved.

I have very little to go on, nothing in the media. I heard from two reliable sources that a green team of 40 RCMP, and other city police have raided upto 15 MMAR facilities. Coming in and taking everything, BC hydro on site disconnecting power, no charges being laid. Just a smash and grab, fucking pigs.....

I hope it's just rumours.

It's kind of all they have left though....patients are giving LPs the finger for the most part, Vancouver is moving forward in spite of them, and they are by no means winning in court....

Aren't they legal if they are MMAR grows?

unless their patients changed addresses or they let their pinks lapse
I would imagine they would still be protected under the injunction

I've talked to my 'network' but no one has heard about anything on the Island. It wouldn't surprise me though, Harper and Ambrose getting their final licks in before the fade into oblivion. We really need to insist on erasing criminal records for mj as part of legalization.

Technically yes, but if your burning 500 lights and 1000 plants, I'm thinking that a judge is going to find that 150lbs a month is not for 4 patients.

I hope it's bullshit, but it makes sense for the Feds to act. Just waiting for Harrper to call cannabis growers terrorists.

The ONLY store front compassion club in Alberta was raided this week, by the RCMP green team. Operated for 11+ years with no problems and suddenly now this? The Feds are definitely trying to make waves.

Ladies and gentleman my biggest fear.

Putting yourself on a watchlist never seemed smart to me. I understand the temptation and necessity for some to be a part of the system which sucks.

Hopefully the Judges do the right thing and throw these cases of personal use out of courts.

Sounds like BS to me. How do they get a warrant to execute a raid on private property, seize items from that property, but lay no charges?

And if the RCMP was conducting illegal raids on MMAR growers, dont ya think it would make the news?

Harpco has to do it. It falls into his platform of "tough on crime" and "Trudeau wants to sell pot to kids".

My wife showed me a news story out of Winnipeg about a smoke in on I think the 19th. First thing I told her is that all it does is hurt people who need the meds by shining a light on the dispensary. Add to the scenario is how Vancouver has done all but tell Harpco to shove it by creating bylaws and non enforcement.

It's inevitable especially now with an election around the corner. Time to bury your jars :)
