Was wondering, can I put my cutting in root riot plugs, and insert those into net pots which insert into a clone bucket or will it absorb too much water and drown out the clones before they can root?
So far I've just been sticking clones into the neoprene inserts, and waiting like 14+ days for some good roots. Sometimes I get crazy roots (like 1.5ft long), sometimes barely any at all. I've tried only using clone gel, i've tried some Big Foot in the water as well as clone gel and some Superthrive, this method seemed to work the best.
I grow in soil though and sometimes when I transplant from the bucket cloner to soil cup, the next day I have a dead shriveled up plant. Any pointers to hit 100% success rate? I like the fast rooting of the clone bucket but transplanting to soil is tricky..
