Hey guys,

I am currently growing 1 x White Widow Auto, 1 x Hollands hope & 1 x NYD Auto

Hardware: 300w CFL dual Spectrum
2x 50w cfl lower down

Over the last few days I have been researching LST and any other methods I can use on Autoflower Strains.
So this morning when the lights came on I decided to use a bit of LST on my biggest (NYD). I read a guide "Grow Chum" (I think his name was) posted about LST'ing his Auto and they turned out sick but I'm unsure I am tying the right branches down the right amount and in the right direction.

Basically.. Am I doing this right haha.

Any help would be appreciated dudes!

I can take more/ better pictures if needed.

Looks good from what I know, I'd tie that main one right down as you can too.
Through out my whole veg cycle I just pulled all the branches down to the perimeter of the pot I was growing in and this is what I achieved.
Hope this helps.

Can still see the tape on the pot which I used to stick the leaves to
Use pipe cleaners or twist ties. Grab the top of the stem and pull it down 90°. Then use another one to pull it down the middle. But despite all of this I'm pretty sure Your not supposed to stress an auto in any way shape or form at all. Don't touch the top and let it grow straight up .

Have you researched much about how those breeds react to LST? Some breeds love it, some it's a death sentence
with auto's you can't stunt there growth too much as you'll have a bigger impact on yield than with regulars i.e. regulars in veg get LST, need an extra 5-7 days under the blue lights with 18/6 light, auto's don't give a fuck, they started when they started and they'll finish there amount of weeks later

Cheers dude, this was helpful, I just don't want to tie all the branches down and it not to make any difference. Your method seemed to have worked pretty well.

Yeah some say you can't, some say you can. I am just gonna LST one plant to see if it works well and hope for the best!

I've done a fair amount of lst. You can tie that sucker right down if the stem hasn't hardened up too much yet. I use wire to make hooks that can be put through the rim of the planter and can be left long so it can be easily adjusted.

For a nice shrub, keep tying the top so it circles around the rim of the planter, the side branches can be pulled down and tied so it opens up the canopy for better penetration.
