400w HPS in 3 x 3 x 2, can it be done?

Hey,my space is 3 ft high, 3 ft wide, and 2 ft back. Would it be that much of a hassle to grow with a 400watt hps??.

low stress training a good idea in this situation??

make/buy a cooltube and you'll be good to go... pots will only take up 6-12 inches. You could fill that space up with clones and do a SOG. flowered at 4-6 inches they would hopefully finish (depending on strain..you my have to do some searching) under 2ft 12-15in ideal. You could easily get a good harvest or setup a perpetual cycle in there

No way in hell dude. I just got a 400 watt HPS light that I put in my closet and it puts off SO much heat. I had the light too close the first day and it burned the hell out of the top of one of my plants. The bottom of the light is about 4 feet from the floor right now and two feet from the tops of my plants.

yea have really good exhaust at the top, I have a 2x2x4 box and it has two intakes at the bottom with a 6" 250 cfm exhaust.

edit: i have a 400w hps

cooltube + s.o.g + l.s.t === nicebud :)

p.s i was shitting myself then on how to build a new box lol,and where. ill add CO2 aswell so my temps can be slightly higher.

dude, it gets really f'ing hot with those HID bulbs, i lost 2 out of 5 baby plants that way :/

hopefully you have AC running.
