Help! Heat, def, or genetics?

Royal queen northern lights autos
Mars 2 900 watt (450) actual, yes I know they suck
Dyna-gro nutes
Coco/perlite
5 gallon buckets
3x2 tent
7-8 weeks..

It been hot so I know I've got some leaf curling.... And some nutes burn, but I was wondering about the purplish red color... Started on the top cola is now on almost all bud sites... Problem or genetics?

Some people actually like purple or reddish buds. It could just be a sign of "old age."

They definitely aren't finished, all clear trichs, I don't mind the color but I've never seen any pictures or heard anyone say this strain does this...

I've had a cotc cash crop do it, the only one I've ever ran and the only with purple buds/leaves. It wasn't as much as yours, but the strain wasn't said to change color any.

Everything was more or less ok.

Yeah I mean other than the heat wave( which I now have under control) and a bit over fed a few feelings back they seem great...

Honesty it might sound wierd, but like the fellow above said, it turned purple like it was "ripening." At least to me.

It has gotten more purple over the past couple of weeks gradually, the plant definitely have a few weeks to a month to go. I hope it's just genetics and not some weird problem I'm not familiar with...
