Hi guys,
I'm a first time outdoor grower with 2 plants started from bag seeds I stumbled across one sunny, haze-filled afternoon.
The more established is exactly 6 weeks from germination and has already shown she's definitely a girl, the younger is just over 5 weeks in and yet to show. I've transplanted both into identical 6 gallon tubs using about 5.5 gallons of organic compost in each and both seem to be doing well and smelling beautiful.
Sadly, the younger of the two is showing signs of wilting. I carelessly damaged a few of the lower roots (minimally) when transferring into the larger tub and since then it's not perked up 100%. Typically they both drop a little at dusk but by morning all seems ok however the younger one still hasn't fully recovered.
I'm watering both on the same schedule, using a 7-7-7 fertiliser and have some Canna Terra Flores set aside to use in a few weeks if they're ready.
The older of the two looks pretty decent but my concern is for the younger. If I keep on doing what I'm doing, what are the chances it'll perk up? I'd hate to mistreat the poor thing.
I've attached some pics, the first few of the 6 week old girl, then a comparison of the two side by side.
Both sets of leaves look healthy, they feel fine to the touch although perhaps a little on the papery side. It's mainly the drooping leaves that I'm asking for feedback on.
Anyone got some much appreciated advice?
Thanks in advance!
