it's all good brother. My bad if I came across as a snob, certainly wasn't intended, i'm NOT a know-it-all, nor do I claim to be. My way isn't better than anyone elses, just is my preference, look food tastes, or the women I prefer..Its hardly innacurate though is it, unless you want chemical nitrogen bud when you harvest, you have to cut right back on N. You dont need anywhere near the amount as you do in veg. I would never tell anyone to keep giving the same amount of nitrogen in flower as veg thats just wrong.
And as for gettin riled about your comment, its just you came across as a bit of a cannabis snob pulling me up on something because of the way I worded it. But no hard feelings after reading your replyI dont think that is the case. So im going to spark a big amnesia haze and start watching breaking bad again from series 1 .
BUT, it's crucial to have a good amount of nitrogen in your soil at all times.
I have seen many grows that are grown beginning to end with a 5/5/5 type of nutrient.
Especially that amnesia haze you are running man, try giving those sativa some nitrogen all the way till the end.
Wise old grower said, in regards to nitrogen, "if the plant is putting ANYTHING together that is GREEN, it needs nitrogen"
Probably important to note that I think you are a hydro guy, right? So we grow differently anyways.
I'm just a simply old organic farmer.
However, I do stand by my statement, nitrogen is needed, in fairly large amounts too.
I'm not positive on this statement, but I think overall, that nitrogen may be needed in similar, if not higher, amounts than phosphorus and potassium, during all stages.
THAT I could be wrong on, but I KNOW it's needed quite a lot.
primarily my statement was geared more to warning new growers of the BS 0-20-20 type flowering nutes...
