Flowering started on July 23rd I began flowering 3 weeks into veg to try keeping plant small due to small amount of space to grow and I'm just looking for some feed back. FYI I have done no topping or anything I have removed very small amounts of vegetation and dying leaves more toward the bottom and have given the plants no nutes growing medium used is fox farm happy frog in 2 gallon pots I'm no pro and am doing this for personal use and for fun

Yea itll be in the next week or so. Some strains start to smell around late week 3 and others like sharksbreath are usually low.odor. your skywalker, i dont think, is low.odor may not completely skunk ur area but as i said should be in a week or so if u dont smell much yet.

Here is a pic of my second plant exact same strain was wondering why it doesn't seem to be as nice as the first very few crystals leaves are much fatter than the other one I'm growing maybe it's more indica dominate idk can anyone provide me with any info as to why it's a lot less desirable looking pots are same size and I used the exact same soil.

Looks nice. Both of them. Both, depending on final potency, would make good mother plants. The first, definitely looks like a keeper.
Smell can vary wildly. I've finished some with little to no smell. Others, well, I won't grown them again from the sheer stench of them.

Glad to hear they are looking good I have not used any nutes at all mainly because this is my first grow and I don't really have a clue what I'm doing I may have to try getting some though and see what happens. I'll will keep updating my photos week by week keep the comments coming I'm thankful for the feed back.

That is an EXCELLENT starter nutrient kit. Follow the directions. I have never seen a crop come out bad utilizing it. It will get you comfortable with using nutrients. By week 4 of flower, you really should be feeding them. They look good right now, but it can hurt if you wait too long. What lighting are you using? Plants look good, but seems like lighting may be a bit lacking??

Yea do what Doz said. They need to eat and it's not that hard to get the correct dose, the plants will tell you what they need, learn to read them n u can't go wrong. And look into getting a meter for ur ppm as ur feeding to help you out. It's worth it. I'm on my first grow n I can't believe I got bud! Starting week 8 tomorrow. Lol pic is attached. Peace

Doz to answer you question I have 5 cfl lights I'm using 1250 lumen at 2700k I do think I could use a few more light as I have tried.problem is the temps get well over 85 degrees with just one extra light and I'm worried about heat stress I have fans I use as ventilation one intake and one exhaust but apparently it won't keep temps down with extra lighting any tips?

Btw jdogg your plants are looking nice if mine look like that 4 or 5 weeks from now I'll be extremely pleased. I wanna know how the harvest goes and what kind of yield you get!

I would move to LED if you have the budget, build your own. Even if you have a small budget, you can build a $200 light that will BLOW AWAY those CFL's. As far as temps, what is your intake/exhaust setup like? Maybe just throw out the entire grow spec so we could better help you. Sounds like you need an exhaust and maybe use a passive intake and just pull in fresh air (provided its setup in your home). A nice little 4" inline fan would work for a smaller cabinet grow.

While your CFL's will grow plants, its definitely not optimal and with just a small investment, those buds will be MUCH more filled out in 4 weeks (nearly double).

This is setup right now I have a hole at bottom of box that will fit another fan. As of right now money is tight as bills are more a concern than a hobby like this for now lol next grow leds will come into play for surethe second pics is the lower buds I'm more worries about them staying so small due to not enough light reaching them. Anything you think I can do to get extra light down to them and keep my temps below at least 83 degrees or so?

Thanks man. Like I said I am in shock. Now I'm hard into researching drying and curing. That's were the real work starts from what I read. It's my first grow too so my fingers are crossed for ya! Keep us posted. N look into a bloom booster to add to your grow.
