Hi guys, I'm new here so first off all y'all are amazing. This place is awesome I'm glad I joined. So like the title says, I'm a first time grower. Basically, I only have 3 plants under 250W hps in a 15 gallons DWC. I'm using GH trio with distilled water + CalMag supp. Changing it once a week, topping with fresh distilled water. I keep PH near 6. I put everything under a scrog since I'm growing indoor under height restriction. Topped once, then lst under scrog.
So when I chose super silver haze, I didn't have the knowledge bout sativas growing tall and streching a lot in flowering, but since I already had the seeds, I decided to give it a try.
I vegged 3 weeks from seed with a 18/6 sched BUT I think it took a lot of time for the roots to hit the water under the rockwool so the real veg time might be lower than that. Anyways, by that time, i filled lets say half of my 2X2.5 scrog. I thought it was a good time to switch so I switched over to 12/12. 3 days later I started checking for female parts and there were almost 2 per node with 2 pistils emerging from each. Looks like preflowers from what Ive seen here. The thing is, i didnt really noticed if they were there BEFORE the switch. 10 days later, the plants keep steching, filling the screen, but looks like there only still 2 calyx per node for a total of 4 pistils on the majority of the nodes. My question is : is the plant flowering ? Maybe someone who knows the strain knows about that, but I find no significative changes in the number of pistils after 10 days isnt normal, is it ? Should I expect a boost only in the 3rd or 4th week ? I don't want them to keep filling the screen and going up without flowering more.
PS : Plants are overall healthy, tops are lil bit yellower at the center but not that much, no defiencies other than that and no pest.
