Fat people...Fatty fat fat fat

I can read between the lines.

Some people need to realize they're not all that.
I'm willing to bet some in here have been shot down flat and hard by someone they deemed a sure thing because that person thought they were "too fat, "too ugly" etc.

All a matter of perception.

Enjoy what you like, don't condemn others for being who they are are what they choose.

Humans are a tribal species. You can't blame people for subconsciously picking and choosing who best fits into their tribe anymore than you can blame a person for liking sweet, salty, or buttery foods.

I think there's 2 different schools of thought here. The first is that we have a duty to tear down the facade that's been built that says beauty means you have to look like those fake paper thin bitches in the magazines. The other is that we have a duty to remind people to take better care of themselves. There's also the socio-economic side of it where a fast food meal is now cheaper than a bag of oranges.

Nah.

It's so much more.

Ya like what you like but don't condemn others for how they look.
To each their own. There's someone for everyone, it's a matter of preference.
I can listen to someone and not like them without seeing them, or vice, versa.

All a matter of personal preference and taste.

racists and white supremacists make a similar argument to support race segregation.

Maybe if I fell in love with someone and they got fat, I wouldn’t care? I do know that I’ve never dated or slept with a fat person. And, “my type” is always thin. Usually skinny actually.

Not a huge fan of big muscles, or a big gut. I like a slight man.

Everyone has their own tastes.

i think theres a big difference between someone being completely obese that you are concerned for their health , and letting them know they need to start taking care of themselves with the help of medical professionals and person support systems.

the difference is i wouldnt be cruel to them telling them they are fat disgusting people and lazy and bullying them , that clearly isnt going to help them.

theres no reason to judge anyone on their weight by bullying them,

and ya life is a bitch its cruel its hard , but theres no reason ot make it harder because youre a judgemental asshole who decides to bully someone

this isnt about attractiveness , its about people literally bullying others because they dont have the perfect vision of media stereotypical bodies, by calling them disgusting, fat fucks and lazy , people they dont even know.

Why do you think so many people still think it is acceptable or even their duty to bully or shame fat people ?

So let them segregate themselves and believe what they want. Your fallacy bears no weight regarding the truth I have written. Humans are a tribal species. Some more so than others. The only person you can change is yourself.

Sure.

However, you most certainly cannot condemn those who do not fit into the mold you may have formed.

Your perfect is not mine.

Do people do that? Outside of high school and middle school where kids can be dinks. And obviously anonymously on the internet.

But, I don’t often see in the adult world people name calling, in real life.

Obese should not be shamed, but it shouldn’t be celebrated either unless it happens to go along with a possible thyroid problem and a healthy diet and lifestyle.

Yes you're right and there is nothing wrong with that.

I also have to agree with @sunni, we really didn't need to be dicks about it. This might sound a little off, but it was the "no reason" part that really drove it home for me. I don't have the right to do that to someone for no reason.

Now, if they are fat AND acting like some bitches, then I can go around calling them fat bitches lolololololol
