Uber

any issues I have with taxi companies aside, Uber is basically cheating the system by calling themselves an "app" and "ride share connecting drivers" ride shares in my experience do not charge you a fee, you instead make arrangements to pitch in for gas, etc. they are a taxi company that uses an app to dispatch instead of a phone operator. Drivers are not employees, but third party self employed contractors, so they get away with not having to pay benefits, regular wages,no security and can be let go on a dime. Oh they don't have the same restrictions, licensing cabs do under the guise of "tech app" so unfair playing field....with all of these points I wonder if they contribute anything to the area other than further car pollution. i don't know if the city economy benefits in any way from this service? I cant see how but people like it and cabs suck! this may be true for some but I'd be protesting as well if I was a taxi company.
This is what happens when you have a monopoly and shitty service practices in general! You get ate for lunch. Taxi plates are far to expensive. The regulations on the hole industry is insane. They need stab proof molded plastic cages In winnipeg! Mandated by the taxi board. They cost severl thousand to buy and instal amd all they do is make the backseat far more uncomfortable for the passages. You know the dummy's paying the bill at the end? Fuck that I'll use über until something better comes around. If über drivers get a few complaints boom they're gone. Not like cabbies who can drive however they want. And once you're out of the car you as a customer have no recourse if you're unhappy with the service. Cab drivers have the reputation they deserve. I'm not saying über is perfect in any way. Several widely circulated story's of a few drivers behaving badly are out there. Bet they all don't work for über anymore. Can you say the same for the last unsatisfactory cab driver you've had? If you feel like über is unfairly manipulating the system use a town car service. Most city's have them. They charge a flat rate in my experience depending on where your going and or often the same or less in cost then a cab with a running meter in traffic would cost and are fully licensed to carry paying passengers. Also the cars they use are vastly nicer cars then cabs. Makes for a nicer ride. Cost and how easy/nice the ride is all that matters to me.

I dont watch TV... lol
Actually.. I got the neighbor interested. He said there's no medication ban at his house. So if you don't drink you can medicate as well. He said he can share his meds, if you're licensed ..
Now what an App that would be.. Afterhours/meds/drinks... !! They already have a MedM App.

I'm sure we can find things to talk about for hours of entertainment. Ask the neighbor if my mmpr document is good enough or if they honor a mmar document only.

MMPR is a registered business no?
Well I'm not sure? My paper works says "medical document for medical marijuana purposes" in big writing across the top of it. It's signed by a doctor. Says maximum 5 grams a day. I'm not registered as a business if that's what your asking.

Uber is awesome, Cabs are outdated and the entire system needs an overhaul. Plus, insurance companies just introduced expanded packages that cover drivers better for ride sharing programs. Also, Uber has one million dollar liability insurance coverage per incident for injury or bodily harm to the driver or passenger.

The MMPR is registered though I'd think. It requires licenses and everything else attached to a business. dont quote me lol
Draws tax and customers.
We'd just passing out drink and Dubes if someone wanted to share is all. (:
