Outside to Inside Question!

I have a plant that's growing outside for about 3 months now in its last two weeks or so. It's quite a big plant in a container though and I can move it and I have to go away tomorrow for about five hours. would it be very detrimental to the plant to bring it inside for those five hours? I just don't feel safe leaving it outside in the open without me there. In the places that would be more disguised last time got bud rot from lack of circulation so I don't want to put it there and ruin the plant. Seriously I've been putting off buying groceries... Living off couscous and chickpeas here.. any thoughts, can I bring it inside for five hours?

Yes, 5 hours is nothing. In October I sometimes put mine in the garage if we have a storm.

Thanks for the answers, what about for another day if I want to go away for nine hours is that too long? When does it start to be too much?

2 wks left..its fine, it wont hurt it. takes 6 wks to grow seeds if your worried about that

Here is a video I made about keeping outdoor plants inside out of the rain or when you can't watch the garden. As long as your environment is dialed in.. I bet you can go up to 2 days with the plants only getting supplemental lighting with the warm and dry air. Anything over 2 days and I bet the plants would start to show signs of stress to due change in daytime light spectrum. My light dep room is at 7:15... with closed captioning available. Hope this helps man.

I'm a girl.. I have a boyfriend and it's the biggest I've ever seen one of my plants get so completely worth it.
