So I have a smell problem! Any advice would be awesome!

i already have one carbon filter in my flower room on the ground sucking air in and blowing it outside its pretty big so that's why I keep it on the ground... I have a 8" exhaust fan ontop of my carbon filter... I thought that would take the smell away since I payed almost 200 for the carbon filter. Today one of my friends came over and said they could smell weed without even opening my front door.. I need to get the smell gone so if a stranger comes knocking they are not hit in the face by my cannabis being grown.. Any advice would be stellar

Well for that 1 filter to work, the room should be totally sealed. Under doors, joints of windows. Even then, it may not be perfect. Look into Ona Gel or Ozone generators to knock out the excess odors.

How does the gel work do i just open the lid for a few minutes then close it?

8" inline ozone generator in conjunction with your carbon filter------if you're not "legal" great way to get busted.

If possible, vent through the roof.

After you close the jar the ona smell eventually dissipates, so you need to have it open most of the time. If the smell is strong enough you can notice it outside, you may want to figure that out too. Ona is very strong, don't put it in your grow space or your plants will smell like it. Some people diy blowers for it using fans & 5 gal buckets to help spread the Ona smell, there's threads here.
Good luck, it's a shock to find out you're the last to know your house is stinking up the neighborhood.

You can buy the Ona by the gallon and then just use what you need when you need it. It is pretty strong, but effective.

Good luck stinky weed stinky house ......you can take lots of precautions to keep it down but sealing your room up top notch status to where all air escaping is through your rig will work however when you open the door all bets are off for a bit .......usually my luck strangers come to my door when I either just shut the room or I'm harvesting and smell like sweet dank ......lol

I hope I'm not stinking up the neighborhood lol people probably wouldn't like me then.. I'm moving my room in a few months so there really is not point in sealling up the room. Is my best bet the ona gel

your carbon filter don't work or there not enough negative pressure in the room, your room does not need to be air tite, you could have a 10" hole in the wall and there should be no smell getting out, thats what the 8" fan/ carbon filter is for.

exhaust more air. Of course if you eliminate or decrease intake, by sealing the room, you will increase your negative pressure.

I also have a filtered intake coming into the room at night. That Helps to cool the room.

There lots of diffent ways, here some
1 reduce the lenth of the ducting,
2 try and keep the ducting straight as possible
3 turn the intake fan off if your using one

Yes, I don't mean to 100% seal the room. I mean to eliminate passive intake points where air can seep in (and out). You def. need some intake.

you don't need an intake fan if there enought fresh air getting in the room.
If there odeo getting out the room, loads of fresh air is getting in
