Drying outdoors/mold?

Hello, I decided to dry my marijuana outdoors this year with a tarp over it. However my area is due for rain in the near future, if the tarp blocks all the rain will the bud still rot due to moisture or should I be alright? Recommendations? Thanks a lot

If your bud is in a wet environment your flirting with disaster if there's any possible way for you to move it inside even if it's a shed or a garage I would Wet and bud don't mix why chance your whole crop my friend we work so hard to grow meds in the first place you need to treat drying the same as growing controlled environment is always the best good luck

Would it work if I simply placed the buds in a bin (laying down, simply on top of each other), stored this bin somewhere and when the rain clears up I start drying them some more? And also thank you for replying

mold grows realllly fast if it gets 3 things.. warmth,mositure and dark
You definetly dont want to pile them together..like Indacouch says.. u'r best to find a shed or attic in a garage is fine. I strung wire across rafters in garage.. hung them there. Placed some old scrap wood,etc over the rafter to avoid curious eyes.

I've seen people use the collapsible, hanging mesh drying baskets. Maybe hanging something like that under a shelter.

Picked up a 6 tier, 3ft diameter, mesh rack for $5 at the hydro store. Most of my drying will be on this under an EZ Up. I have NO room inside. Seems decent so far.

I have dried in a non-sealed shed. Once. Hashed that shit.

You don't want your buds touching that's asking for trouble again .......also I dry my buds hanging from a string like mentioned above in a sealed room where I can somewhat control environment .......if your guna try to dry the buds individually on racks just remember bigger buds will get flat spots on the side you place them on .........also buds taken off the stem dry much faster than buds left on the stem which isn't necessarily a good thing if you decide to do this watch em close .......remember don't bunch the buds together where there touching you want space and air to flow between them ......good luck keep studying this is just as important as growing or more IMO
