I know ph should be in the 6-7 range for healthy marijuana but every where i read it just states simply that but what exactly should be that ph the soil or the water runoff?
Ahh i see forgot about that one as well makes sense loljust your water / nutrient mix, ph to 6 to 7..
i'm not a believer in checking the ph of a substrate such as soil, and the only thing that testing the ph of the runoff is going to tell you is the ph of the run off, of course, imvho.
yeah, i'd not worry about ph'ing your soil.. most soil that you buy from the store already comes at a decent ph, unless you're buying say a soil that has a more acidic ph, but most will say high acidic soil right on the bag..Ahh i see forgot about that one as well ms sense lol
How much of that lime do u add to the soil say for a 3 gal or 5?yeah, i'd not worry about ph'ing your soil.. most soil that you buy from the store already comes at a decent ph, unless you're buying say a soil that has a more acidic ph, but most will say high acidic soil right on the bag..
you could also add a bit of dolomite lime to pretty much any soil as a ph buffer as well..
and yeah, i think that checking and trying to keep the ph of the run off in check usually causes more issues than it solves.. k.i.s.s has always worked well for me..
1 TBSP/per gallon of soil, or 1/2 cup per cubic foot. How much of that lime do u add to the soil say for a 3 gal or 5?
