what light should I use?

Hello everyone. I hope everyone is well. I have a 24x24x60 tent. I will be growing 1 plant mini scrog style. I was wanting to know in your opinion what light would be better for that size tent. I have a 2ft x 4bulb T5 light or a 150 watt hps light. Which do you think would give better results. I was thinking maybe the T5 because it will be a mini scrog and I could keep the light closer. I have also seen hps is the way to go.

Hps would definitely be better but you just have to make sure you can control the heat in such a small space. A 150 isnt that much though so I think it would be maintainable, you could also use the t5's on the side for extra bottom bud growth under the scrog canopy

I was thinking of just vegging with the T5 and flower with the 150 watt hps. Thank you for the reply.

That would work but you can use a hps for veg too it may not have all the right spectrum but if it puts out more lumens than the t5's it'll still do better

Hps over t5 any day of the week. Do you have the 54 watt bulbs in the t5? Thats 216 watts total. I can guarantee you that your 150 watt hps will still give you 50 percent more yield than your t5 with less watts.

Hello thank you for the reply. No its just 24 watts per bulb, so 96 watts total. I was just asking which light because I already have the T5. I would just buy flowering bulbs. I would still have to buy the 150 watt hps. But if the hps is better thats the way I will go.

You can and you'll have great results. I would still use the t5 in another area to veg while you're flowering
