Closing those offices saved the state a lot of money. And those "mistreated" peoples can still get licenses. They just have to travel a bit further. As an alternative, how do you think they would have liked paying higher taxes to keep those offices open?

the miters on those were measured down to 1/64th of an inch. i presented multiple custom profiles that i created myself on the spot with my router for him to choose from. it's satisfying, mentally.
getting on top of the scaffold outside though, a full 38 feet off the ground, is not something i like doing though. at least i got to wear my harness for once though. tied off to a tree on the other side of the house.

Old dudes got skills man. I highly respect construction peeps. They know their shit and I've seen em trim a 1000 square feet in minutes, couple of hours anyway. And seen there design work cutting all kind of crazy angles and shit to frame an entry way with decor.

Now imagine if everyone world wide woke up tomorrow and those 3 words were the objective for the day. Not chasing the dragon in financial circles. But to be happy with the wonderful things and life we have today. To be satisfied even tho dude down the street got a brand new Camaro, bigger screen tv, first generation smart phone. And, an extremely attractive wife, life and perfect family.
Let's get beyond that. Peace and Love. That's all we need. It leads to respect.
