My growroom

Do I have enough basic gear?
Aside from the obvious, (ie... fix power strips to wall, install power lines from breaker box with outlets boxs), do you see anything you'd change or add?

Good setup! I couldn't have done this.
Thanks. I've been at this now for about 4 years and this is my first full room. I've gain all my experience with 2 tents. 4x4x8 and 2x3x5. So this will definitely be a learning curve as I'm manipulating 2 environments within 1 room.
What are you working with?

your ballast on the ceiling of the grow room .......if u can u should remove the heat will be lower and u can get a longer run time on the ballast (heat and ballast equals death that is a good one i own it myself but it does get warm and where u have it will only add to natural heat )

the fan pointing down is a bad idea u are pushing the hot air down into the cool air .......u want the hot to stay at the top so your venting can pull it out (u will get a higher amount of drawl in tho the intake bringing in cool Co2 and oxygen )

i would swap out the 12 inch fan u have at the bottom for 2 6 inch fans ......set the fans up in 2 different corners get a nicer movement in there with less chance of wind burning the leaves .....12 inch is pretty strong if the plants bush out u will be in little bit of trouble

Excellent observation, thanks for the pointers. I'll pick up 2 smaller fans for the HID enclosure. Sorry I didn't mention this in the post earlier but the HID is completely enclosed and air tight. I have a 5'x5' plywood door that's hinged and lined with foam tape. So the heat that's generated inside the cab is ventilated directly to my chimney.

I'll move the small fan elsewhere, but I also have a 36" tower fan thats oscillating, and that's what was gonna blow towards the LED grown plants.

if u are open area for veggie u can back the fan off allowing good use .....other wise go 6 inch for enclosed areas
if u look at the you tube videos those fans like that have 2/3 feet of room to defuse air so not so fast on the plant ....or are placed up high on walls so the air is moving right below the lights

That's crazy you say that because I was thinking just the other day of how hard my fan actually hits the plants. I'd like to mount it on the wall but it doesn't tip/tilt that far upwards to fix it to the wall...
