WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A former investigator for the House of Representatives Select Committee on Benghazi is accusing the Republican-led panel of targeting Democrat Hillary Clinton to scupper her presidential bid, the New York Times and CNN reported on Saturday.


They said Major Bradley Podliska, an intelligence officer in the Air Force Reserve on active duty in Germany, alleged that he was fired for resisting pressure to focus his investigation into the 2012 attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi on Clinton's role. They said he planned to file a complaint in federal court next month.

Heads are about to roll, and it ain't going to be Clintons. Everyone with a brain knows this whole investigation, that has lasted for how many years now, I can't remember, it's been so fucking long, has bee a witch hunt (no pun intended), and as usual, the Republicans (McCarthy?) fucked themselves. Nice

Loo-ten-ten MuyLocoNC, who describes himself as a liberal Democrat (see what I did there) was looking for a sure fire way to save his career after being fired for several infractions and security breaches, decided to allege some bullshit he knew the minority party would jump at the chance to exploit.

Major Podiska is a lifelong Republican.

Podliska said he decided to come forward because the committee's skewed focus is detracting from the objective of uncovering the truth surrounding the deaths of four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens. "What happened was wrong," Podliska said.

"I'm scared. I'm nervous. I know that this is, you know, I'm going up against powerful people in Washington. But at the end of the day I need to live with myself," he said. "I told my wife, I will view myself as a coward if I don't do the right thing here."

He insisted that his claim is not politically motivated, explaining that he has long been a conservative Republican -- "more on the libertarian side" -- and plans to vote for the GOP nominee in 2016.

"I am going to vote for the Republican nominee in 2016. I do not support Hillary Clinton for president," he said.

The objective was to ......"Hope and Change"...... it, that happened, but for the worse or better isn`t known yet,...then the next President took the same view.

O boy, here we go again parroting the same old bullshit. Bush did not "invade" without congressional authorization and that was based on intelligence sources. Even Hillary voted to go in. He successfully took out a dictator who did use weapons of mass destruction and who was tried by an Iragi court and then hung. It took a while but Iraq was stabilized and normal life, ways and means, was returned to the people after Al Queda was squashed, destabilized.

.....that is until Obama screwed everything up and look what chaos we now have. :clap:

Yes, I saw that. And as stated, I'm a lifelong Democrat and I'll be voting for the Democrat nominee in 2016. There I said it again, it MUST be true.

It is a political witchhunt. Just as blaming a video for Benghazi was political. Seems like both sides want to win elections.
