So I'm all ready to get everything going and was about to plug my reflector into my ballast but the plugs are completely different....can I get an adaptor that will allow me to use my radiant 6" hydro farm reflector with my 1000w solis tek ballast? I just ordered all this stuff and ran into this issue!!

I dont know why in hell Hydrofarm doesnt go to the standard plug and receptacle like every other manufacturers and distributors. Its been like that for years. Makes u have to buy that retarded adapter. Been there done that... long time ago. Get it together Hydrofarm!!! This isnt 1989 anymore!!!

yeah and when they first came out with the raptors and there was no hinge to take the glass out you had to slide the glass all the way out or unscrew it. fucking idiots must have never grown a plant in their lives indoor

The early air cooled hoods had brackets with wingnuts to hold the glass in. Hinges were nonexistent. I broke many a glass back then. Lol. It was pretty much a 2 man job to clean glass and change bulbs unless u went thru the duct flange. And if u did that might as well take the whole damn hood down and do it proper. Just to clean and change over bulbs!!! They had whacky setups back in the day for sure. The climate controllers and squirrel cage fans were a cruel joke too.

Not just them. Radioshack and sony both do that shit with electronics. They think they will get more biz because the crap isn't compatible.Personaly,I won't do biz with them if options have to be brand specific.
