Close to Harvest??? - Help appreciated

Hi folks,

First timer here so was just wondering if any of the more experienced heads on here could help shed a little light on my situation. I have two plants, Northern Light feminized from Royal Queen seeds. They are growing indoors with about 7000 lumens worth of CFL, a fan, extraction and a low-humidity environment. I realise that I may not have the greatest light set-up but they have been going fine til now and I can't really afford anything else atm.

They are both on day 47 since switching from 12/12 but trichome production on the second plant seems to have stopped and there are noticeably less on the leaves and buds then there were a couple of weeks ago. The second plant in comparison is well frosty. I have attached some photos of various regions of the first plant (from top of the plant down). The trichomes are nearly all still cloudy or white, although there are some amber here and there. If anyone could help me with the questions below I would really appreciate it.

  1. Does the trichome production seem ok?
  2. Why would the trichome production start to decrease? Is this normal?
  3. Is there any way to increase trichome production at this late stage?
  4. How long do you think I have before harvest?

Other than the trichome situation the plants appear to be in good shape.

Any comments or tips would be great.
Cheers.
