so this is my first time growing. its a arjans haze #3, and its with CFLs. the strain is about 80% sativa, but is still staying extremely stout, just like how it was adverstised.

the plants have been at it for about a month and a week. i have been lst'ing. my pots are 10" in diameter, and hold about 2 gallons each.

the first 3 pics are of the first plant, and the 2nd 3 pics are of the other plant. i want to atleast break even with all the money i spent, so do you think if i were to flower now, i could get an ounce of dry bud between them? i figure an ounce would cover all the costs i spent.

what are your thoughts? i need them to stay 3 feet or shorter, so i might just flower now since im growing them in 2 rubbermaid bins.

how many watts of cfls?

personally, i would veg it longer, they only look about a foot tall now.
with a good cfl setup and maybe some lst you could yield 1.5 / 2 oz dry possibly.

right now, i have the following
four 23 watt 6500K
one 42 watt 5000K
one 42 watt 2700K

for flowering, i have the following
three 30 watt 2700K
two 42 watt 2700K
two 23 watt 2700K
and then i figure if temperature permits, ill use some of the 6500Ks i have left over

i wouldnt mind vegging it longer, but my grow box is only about 3.75 feet tall and i need to harvest them and the whole 9 yards before i go on x-mas break, which is around mid december. and since its mostly sativa, its going to flower longer than an indica.

Looking good!! Maybe, but look;why not just veg about another month (if indoors) under 18/6 and veg another month? I know then you'll definitely will be at an ounce plus.

the only thing is time and height are a problem. any sort of work, including harvesting and curing needs to be done by or before the middle of december, since ill most likely go to florida and cant burp any curing jars.
also, it cant grow higher than about 3.5 feet

dude, if you kept lst up you could veg it for another month / month and a half and easily keep it under 2.5 foot, let alone 3.

that would give you a yield 1oz+ per plant.
obviously depends on your feeding schedule and other variables.

by the way, what are you feeding them?

thats true, height shouldnt be an issue since i am lst'ing

i guess time is the only thing. so from the start of flower, to the end of flushing, cutting, hanging, and curing the buds so that they can be stored for extended periods, how long does this take? im just afraid if i wait too long and dont have time to properly store the bud, it will get mold if i leave it alone for 2 or 3 weeks while i am gone.

it says 10-11 weeks for flowering time. so thats about 2.5 months. and then how long from cutting it down till the bud can be stored long term in jars?

edit:
as for feeding, i really have barely done it. i havent given it much water either. perhaps since its miracle gro potting soil and already has a ton of nutrients. i did see the most growth after i did a small flush of about .75 gallons of water. i think i have only used fertilizer about 3 or 4 times, but didnt see any adverse effects, so i might try upping it a little.

i would strongly advise looking into some flowering nutes and getting yourself some molasses.

then your 1oz target will be eeeasily attainable.

you want to be drying it for 1/2 weeks minimum.

then curing, 2/3 is preferable, but if it has to be done, you can rush it.

my bad. yeah, ive been using molasses for every watering from about the 2nd week on. it really has made a world of difference.

i do have flowering nutes, but i just havent given it any yet.

i think im going to flush in a day or two, get rid of any built up salts, then im going to flower a few days after that. i think ill flower in about 5 days. ill be having exams just before break, and dont want to be stressing out about what to do with my plant if its not finished in time.
