RIU censoring us?

i just got the thing where u have to agree to the forum rules thing. and i was reading it, according to the rules, we are not aloud to cuss or anything anymore. im sorry but are we not all adults here? i see no need for the no obcene language thing, i mean if little kids were aloud on this forum i can understand that but u have to be 18 to be a member here? can someone please clear this up if maybe im misunderstanding or something.

i agree 18+ should be mature enough to handle a few Curse words

p.s. if they say no bad lauguage, are they taking porn of RIU too?

There may be places where explicit, obscene or vulgar language, graphics or behavior is appropriate however Rollitup is not one of those places. Posts containing explicit, obscene or vulgar language will be removed. Similarly, posts that solicit or offer explicit or X-rated GIFs, JPEGs or similar content files will be deleted without notice! Links to Websites with adult content/images anywhere on the site will be removed. Simply put, we do not wish to be seen as supporting any site that contains adult content - adult content being defined as any material that you would not feel comfortable showing to your spouse, your teenagers, or your boss and co-workers. This represents our values and our desire to appeal to the widest possible audience not to mention keeping clear of any restrictions that our present or future advertisers might have regarding acceptable content.

What the rules are saying is Rollitup will not tollorate certain things. This is a site dedicated to the culivation of marijuana and is a community. Just have respect for everyone is all. :mrgreen::peace:

Also isn't it up to our RIU staff to decide what is unacceptable and what is?


I don't mind as you guys aren't assholes, or anything like that as I'm willing to be it mostly applies to people who use non-stop racial slurs and things like that.



Bout the only thing free speech about the net is you wont be jailed for it, I'm fine with it as someone pays for the server and it is their property. I don't go into peoples homes and not follow their rules the same is on the net.

I cuss way too much to not say it in a forum.
I dont think they'll remove it tho, just personal attacks wit cuss words in them.

I don't mind racial slurs, cuss words, nudity......... slander... I am ok with all that stuff.. I am not ok with people reading into my posts... taking what I say and twisting it.. or getting offended by what I say... that is lame.. I feel like banning those people...
