that article is about one priest getting his nose out of joint because the compassion club are more successful at philanthropy efforts than the church is... don't forget that selling medicine to the sick is just as bad as robbing a bank in rural saskatchewan according to the priest...fuck you and your conservative bullshit viewpoint

And next week they will be back in the news after they get raided.
I'm surprised those places even accepted his donations because they came from an illegal activity.

Interesting story.

I think there should be lots more of this. It's exactly what the dispensaries in Colorado, California etc. did to win over the public. Once they see that there is a benefit to the community, attitudes change. I noticed the biggest argument against is ' it sends the wrong message to young people. WTF? Pharmacies sell lots of addicting pain killers that some use recreationaly...and many die from, what kind of message are they sending to our kids? The bars and the liquor stores are sending the right message to the kids? The tiny local CC here sponsors a kids hockey team...no one says boo.

I say good for him. We need more cc and dispenseries to be popping up all over the country. If we over grow the government they will have to listen or at the very least we will hopefully sway the public sorry governments opinion that cannibis is in anyway shape or form dangerous. There is nothing dangerous about cannbis other than prohibishionist propaganda.:weed:

I'm not. Most small town fire departments operate on a shoestring or with volunteers and they could use all the help they can get.
Understandably they may need funding, but considering the source of the funds and how they were generated illegally I'm surprised they accepted it. Accepting money from and illegal dispensary is no different than accepting it from a biker gang, crack dealer or any other illegal source.

So I'm surprised the fire department accepted the money.

I think it speaks to the public attitude toward MJ laws. It's not the big, bad evil weed anymore.

I'm not the big shot making threats Sunni. He has a problem when I point out his inaccuracy and straight up lies. If he's commenting in my threads I have every right to address him.
