2 Gallons of water for 6 plants?

Mernin'. So I was having some issues with minor nute burn because the soil (ffof) was too hot for my seedlings, so someone recommended I give less water.

I mistakenly thought the 25% run off rule always applied, not just when you are feeding.

So... I was giving them about a gallon a piece, but that was too much?

Is two gallons for 6 plants too little??

Probly fine at this stage....just watch and listen to what they tell you...if they are getting thirsty befor you go for the next watering they will let you know.

I have only been feeding ever 3 or 4th watering....the rest of waterings have been straight water

Thanks. How will I know when they are ready for nutes? When the growth slows??

25% runoff? that seems a bit excessive to me. I usually get by with watering until I barely see water at the bottom. feeding or not. a slow, steady drip delivery will do so much better to saturate the soil, and use less water. IMO of course ;)

Looking at your plants though, I would say 2 gallons for 6 plants would be about right, maybe slightly too much depending on how often. FFOF always does that, just ignore it. Feed with straight water for the first couple weeks, then continue as usual.

and those look like clones, not seedlings :D

Transplanted last Thursday.
Youre in pretty good shape.... Flipping soon?

How big are those bags?..... Should be at least a week until you feed anything ... Might wanna stick w that quart of water when you water .... I grow in twelve in squares they're about four gallons and that's what I give em

Best thing you could do tho is come up w a plan that's easier ... Bottled organic or dry fertilizer
