I've been giving it straight water for a week or a little more now. Probably going to flip the switch in another week or a little more. Any recommendations?
I recommend you ensure the issue is fixed before flipping. I have an amnesia haze plant that caught a deficiency right before I flipped and she is now 2-3 weeks behind her sister who's the same age because she had to bounce back. I've accepted the fact I won't get much from her, but she's fought to hard for me to kill her. Hopefully you'll dodge that bullet. Good luck.
You did it right - don't flush but simply water away the overage! Flushing can create more and worse problems sometimes.
Reduce nutrition by 1/4 and run.
