Issue with my BHO wax/shatter

Hey everyone,

I am having an issue with my BHO. I am trying to make shatter/wax, but after a 12 hour winterize and low heat cook followed by a 12 hour vac purge. I seem to keep getting really runny honey/oil, it looks really nice and amber and clear, totally blows your head off and it will solidify in the freezer for dabs. But turns to honey really too fast.

Hopefully someone here can point me to where I am going wrong.

(Sorry for the poor quality image, I have a really shitty phone)

-40 f. that is the magic number. if I don't have dry ice I leave it in the freezer for days to get as cold as possible, and what type of heat and why? forced ar/fan ,air evap/dehydrator on low seem to work really well IMHO

Right after I pull the alcohol from winterizing, I cook it on 110f continuous until I no longer have any bubbles forming. Then from there I put it into the vac for 12 hours at -28

It comes out beautiful and clear, just really syrupy and doesn't seem to want to harden at all.

What temperature are you vacuuming at?
Are you vacuuming in that cup, or in a thin film on parchment or PTFE film?

I am vacuuming in a thin film on parchment paper, I am keeping the heat at around 80f when it is in the chamber simply just to keep it pliable. I am thinking that I might be winterizing too long and pulling too much of the wax out with the sediment.

When I winterized I would just let alcohol evap with fan blowing over it once all alcohol gone scrape and vac. I like between 90-100degree range for a longer time. Others prefer vaccing for shorter time at higher temps 115-125

I'm one that prefers hot and fast. Ethanol and cannabis oil form a highly viscous film, so that it can blow humongous bubbles. I keep the temperature closer to 125F with alcohol, to lower the surface tension.
