I have used a 50/50 mix of Ocean Forest and Happy Frog for growing autos with good success.
I've been curious though...do these soils contain any calcium?

I've got a current LEC grow going of White Widow autos. I just added a humidifier.

Yes they use dolomite limestone

I was running in the low 30% range. I thought seedlings needed higher?

you dont ever in your life want powder mold, its kinda hard to get rid of...they can adjust to low rh. I live in Colorado, its dry as fuck and they love it..its the environment they have to live with and they adjust fine. When you get into flower mode, you reallllly want to keep it dry because of botrytis.

I only planned on using this humidifier during seedling and early veg.
My whole tent is vented (not the light) and the exhaust fan kicks on a lot so good exchange of air.

I did not like ocean forest it was too hot and my plants got nute burn when i fed them until about 3 weeks of veg. Happy frog has worked great for me, could use more perilite though. Using Roots Organics original and so far so good, had to add calmag since i had a little issue bht i am using ro water and was not adding any nutes yet.

I made a core of HF in the middle of my 3 gallon fabric pots. I also added coarse perlite to the 50/50 mix. When I start feeding it will be diluted. I'm careful because they are autoflowers. It worked well last grow.
I use Grow More nutes and I'm careful to give them just water like every third watering/feeding.

But historically ,,, not enough......Most advanced growers add a good 3rd to half cup (I do a fat closed handful per) MORE Dolo or oystershell to each bag!

I use the Dolo because I feel it needs more Mg too!
