I'm thinking about bringing it inside to the basement to finish cooking once i get the basement finished.... my week got kinda screwed up and i was planning on painting the floor down there tomorrow but that's not happening this week.ok for all you ppl out there who have had PM indoors.... HIGH humidity has nothing to do with PM outbreaks... it's been less than 45% down there for the past 3 weeks. I stopped treating a few plants because i wanted to see how my progress was going after 5 applications..... shit is still in there.
yesterday i picked up some potassium bicarbonate offa a friend. it's supposed to be a lot more effective than the sodium bicarbonate mixture, and the sodium bicarbonate worked really well for about 10 days before NEEDING to be reapplied. it's best applied about every 7 days. So let's see how the potassium bicarbonate functions. it also had some lactose and garlic powder in it. i applied it with neem/karanja oil. the leaves looked very shiny this morning, and i was almost worried they were TOO coated! maybe with the lactose in there already i didnt need the neem/karanja oil to hold the potassium bicarbonate on the leaf. i dunno. guess we'll see!!! @Grandpa GreenJeans whatchu think? this PM is a bitch! but i'm fighting! also got the ozone generator running last night. ran it for a half hour (10min lights on 20min lights off) right at lights out. this morning i fired it back up 15 min before lights came on. i'm going to continue to use it every night per a suggestion from another member. was thinking about pulling all the plants outta my flower room and running it for about 2 hrs in there and then putting the plants back in after.

I think you have a good on/off interval for the generator. I fucked my seedling up nasty with mine but it was left on for a solid day. Ozone damage is caused by the plants taking in the ozone through the stomata. That's why mine curled up like a burrito, bronzed and then went necrotic. But at night plants don't take in through the stomata like they do durring photosynthesis, so I'd be inclined to highly agree with you on the intervals.pile is frozen!!!!!! damnit!!!! haha i knew it was coming though

Fungi rely on sporalation to spread to a new host. So everytime to wipe the leaves, technically your spreading spores. Every time the fan hits the infected leaf, you spread spores. Yes PM can be systemic so really who fucking cares about spreading spores. The ozone WILL combat this for you for the intervals you have set. I also think that it would be a good idea to remove the plants from the room and run the generator for around an hour. Turn off all exhaust and allow a fan to circulate it. Make sure it's on the floor tho because ozone falls just like C02 does. Then exhaust the room and return the plants. Use your nose to detect any ozone odor before returning the kids.

Just a tip...
If your going to bring your compost indoors then I would throw some watermelon or cantaloupe rinds on the very top. If you have any mites they will be attracted to the melon rine and you can dispose of them by washing it off, then return the rines. I'm not saying you have dirty compost, but it was outdoors and it's better to be safe than sorry. Plus I'm sure the center of that pile is warm and the cold didn't kill off those invaders.

yeah the little generator i bought via amazon from as a suggestion from another member, things puts off A SHIT TON of ozone lol.

i did shut down the exhaust while i ran it last night. The box instructions said that i can run the ozone for 1hr with no damage to plant life (but this thing really pours out the ozone so i dunno about that lol). and like you mentioned, stomata are closed at night, so i should be good to run it for 10min lights on/20min once lights off and vice versa before lights on, and start knocking out this damn PM! it's not bad by any means cause i've been combating, but it's making me put in a couple extra hours every 2 days for diagnosis, and then more time with foliar applications every 5-7 days.
my focus is the veg room for the potassium bicarbonate treatments (and plants <2wks in flower). i think i'm gonna blast the fuck outta the veg room with the ozone too (removing plants of course). for like 2hrs for sure. start doing it once a week. i'll pull out plants for foliar treatment, and i'll run the ozone in that room while i'm doing foliar in a different spot. and letting them air dry before going back under the lights.
yes the spore spreading... damn those conidiophores!!!!!!!! now instead of wiping leafs, i'm just cutting them where the petiole meets the main stalk. there's plenty of leaves in the canopy and clearly they need more airflow cause mildew is only showing in windless places it seems to me. i'm gonna be a couple more fans today and get like 4-5 of them rocking in that bitch.

Sorry it's been a while! this PM has had me working overtime for sure in the flower room. on top of that, i fumbled my ozone generator and broke the ozone plate, and now i have some new ones on order. DOH!!
i normally would never recommend this, but it's a last resort for me to do some serious defoliation on a few of these plants.... gotta do what you gotta do. i'm a master at detecting where PM wants to show its gruesome face now, that is for sure! So i've cleaned a lot of the larf outta the cheese plants, and defoliated them, and also defoliated the hell out of the black domina as well. the PM wasn't as bad on those plants so i just said screw it, i'm gonna do what i shoulda done to the cheese! I also added a new fan, and have a lot more airflow now with new fan positions.
Here's some of the cheese shots @5.5wks... this cheese has the best grape/berry smell of any plant i've ever smelled... i can not wait to harvest these two ladies!!!! this is just one in the picture below.

here's one of the black domina... just over 4wks
and here's the 9lb hammer. surprisingly this strain IS really powdery mildew resistant! i've only found one spot on one of the two plants, and i've been watching hardcore lol. it's looking stellar... smells incredible, better than my previous runs for sure. just over 5wks...
this 9lb is definitely is not a gooberry dom pheno lol... the nugs are so dense though they are small, it all adds up in the end.
sorry for the lack of updating but i've been so busy. yesterday i spend 12 hours very carefully inspecting and defoliating the black domina and confidential cheese plants. definitely won't be any record harvests for me this time around, but i just hope i'll be able to get my room under control once they are out of the picture. after the 9lb, black dom, and cheese are done flowering i'm going to pull out the newer stuff that's in there (that i've been treating carefully) and going to ozone the fuck out of that place lol, clean it up real good, and hope for better days to come. the mildew is creating a lot more work hours for me and that is not good in my book.

i've been making the best of it. the PM is a bitch though. major defoliation was the only answer for me. my veg room is going on a every 5 day regimen of pm treatment. i'm hoping by keeping the plants clean, i'll be able to get this shit out of my room in a month or so.... we'll see....
i did it to myself... i didn't want to lose the genetics my friend had... they're amazing. so i opted to take them in. its just been a lot of extra work.
