You may get a nuckle. Maybe not. That looks likr a painful snap. you could always try to splint with a kabob skewer or somethingsomeone or something snapped my plant now it's turning brown, probably windy conditions/falling debris, do yous think i should chop it off below the brown shit or will it fix itself?View attachment 3552213

i have it on hand so i will try foliar and put some in the soil when i water tomorrow, see how it goesI wonder if fresh aloe may help just with the healing enzymes and other goodies in there. No expierencew. Just thinking out loud here
cheers bro i taped it up with thread tape and staked it up on both sides, hope it pulls through or ill chop it. i wanted to but a bandaid and betadine on it! ahahaduct tape or tape if it was done recently. However, that may have an embolism in it. Any open wound like that (like a person) can also be a pathway for pathogens to enter your plant more easily. You may want to remove it with sterilized scissors if it keeps turning funky colors. Looks like she's in veg? If it starts wilting badly above the break, just chop it below the purple and let it branch out.
I was think ing direct contact. I mean its great for taking clones.i have it on hand so i will try foliar and put some in the soil when i water tomorrow, see how it goes
To this though i. Would add. Be weary cloning or trying to continue genetics. Genetric degradation occurs over generations with big stress events like this.if it stays living, the plant will repair it stronger than it was before. no worries
Pics?cheers guys, she seems to be going well, new leaves are looking to be burnt at the tips even though i havent fed it anything extra, this is a guess but could that be from the plant pumping more nutrients to the cola so the new yellowish whitey little leaves look burnt? i dont know too much about a plants biology
i know it looks like its just sittin on top of the dirt but i had to cut off the brown stem it was getting worse(noticed when i took the tape off). it's got about 1cm of stem in the dirt with root promoter and a bit of great white bacteria. see what happens, dont mind if it diesPics?
Id be more concerned with potential bugs. Those little white blotches on top of leaves most likely have more damage undernieth. First thought is thrips. But looka alright. I would think about cutting those fan leaves back 2/3 rds the way down if your trying to root that top. This will help promote root growth. And also great white will do nothing WHATSOEVER unless direct rooot contact application is used. You need some protex. Or cloning gel or aloe or simular product.i know it looks like its just sittin on top of the dirt but i had to cut off the brown stem it was getting worse(noticed when i took the tape off). it's got about 1cm of stem in the dirt with root promoter and a bit of great white bacteria. see what happens, dont mind if it dies
edit: what do you reckon
it's fine i checked it this morning, that plant has been through the wars, ive saved it from dying twice, this is my first grow so im experimenting and working out how things work. the cutting i planted is reaching for the sun is that a good sign the rooting agent has started to work? will it be 2-3 weeks before i actually know? it has no sign of degeneration.Id be more concerned with potential bugs. Again if your rooting agent was yhe great white than there will be no benefit. Mychos will die off completely within hours without good root ball system to bond and form symbiosis with. That being said. A clone or cutting eill naturally produce enzymes to rerootit's fine i checked it this morning, that plant has been through the wars, ive saved it from dying twice, this is my first grow so im experimenting and working out how things work. the cutting i planted is reaching for the sun is that a good sign the rooting agent has started to work? will it be 2-3 weeks before i actually know? it has no sign of degeneration.
edit: also the i guess i could call it mother plant now has 4 colas stretching up, i like the looks of it and am excited for whats to come
Also.1-2 days. You'll know if she takes or not. Cross ya fingers and genetic degradation occurs over generations. If you were to try to continue these genetic s for future grows ( take new clones) only than will yoi notice problems.
