Main lining the stalk

I know it is kind of off topic, but Mr Sunshine is kind of on to something. Autos are generally problematic plants. If you grow from good photo stock you may not have the problems you are trying so hard to combat. I think we all caught on to your definition for "mainlining" (and I'm not sure that it is an actual medical term, it is actually more related to illicit drug use) but what is the cost and return-on-investment for building and maintaining these sensitive needle solutions? Most growers wouldn't need them. Don't get me wrong - it's an interesting idea - I just think you are going to end up over-engineering a solution to a problem that can be solved by using different genetics.
i thought about photos .....the trouble is i am limited in space working all this out of a 11x12x7 room (seedling growth flower and drying)
i have a steady demand for half pound a month (holidays like this it doubles or triples) last month they took 20 ozs off me but i think they are good for dec i have not had a heads up warning

doing this with photo plants .....i need a larger area something like a 20x20 so i can do staggered 4 weeks 3 weeks rotation to keep up with the orders

auto plants i can keep the whole area on 1 time table 20/4 so the 11x12 area allows me to do this

everything i have read including the bottles
i have to stop spraying the leaves when the Buds start to form ........i can keep spraying but i am increase the chance of mold attaching and i have read ppl saying it gives the smoke a funny taste
I thought you were pulling my leg but if you did something like this before...no arguments from me!

I'm with @mr sunshine on this a targeted foliar feeding might be better with the right nutes but to each his own.

Mainlining with Cannabis usually refers to pruning in such a way that you get like 8 or 16 stems all with equal amount of stalk between it and the roots. What I mean is pruning a seedling at the top to make 2 equal stems and then topping those two to get 4 equal stems, etc. It's supposed to ensure that all the stems get equal access to root nourishment.

Now, what you're talking about is when you stick a hypo needle attached to tubing into the lower part of the stem, put packing around it to prevent leaking, and then supply sugar water directly to the plant stem under pressure. It takes considerable pressure to force it in. They took bricks and stacked a few on top of the plunger mechanism as the pressure source. The sugar injection improved yield substantially but doing it with several plants at the same time would be pretty troublesome I would think. One big plant might be worth it.
You are breaking apical dominance when you top or mainline. Apical dominance is how a plant grows like a Christmas tree shape. One main cola. When topping you break that. Auxins are equal.

Ahh that makes sense. You could still succeed with photos but I totally understand what your logic is now. Makes sense.

i know what i did and i can repeat it i have until the water temp got to high and cooked roots

the auto plant was all about how much food u can offer it with the fact it has unlimited water ........if u can keep the plant happy u can do that

i been mixing soils and have gotten it to stretch out and make the sites as u see in the pic......now i need to give it the extra water and food to duplicate the hydro results
i have tried using automatic watering systems i got a nice result with those but it was still missing the power .........adding feed to the automatic watering will make the water pump clog up once they start the micro growth goes

Why can't you use clones? I'm confused.

the time period it takes for photos is 4 months (avg) growth flowering dry time
i have a area of 11x12x7 to work in and i need a supply of atleast Half lb a month every month

photos i could do this in a larger area mother clones flowering all that and keep the rotation and time i need but in this small of a area no way photo plants will do it the light leaks from the veggie/mother even with a tent i still only have access to the area for 12 hours

How many lights do you run?How much bud do you pull every 2 months?

2foot 8 bulb t5 for seedlings
jiffy green house on top to start (the heat it puts off is perfect i got sprouts in 3 days)
2 300w generic LED for veggie
4x4 tent
2 600w matrix S led light for flowering
5x5 tent frame minus the tent but with the water spill tray and frame with some IR blocker up (walls are brown)
i have a 1000w hid and 2 600w hids...sitting on the side not used

how much do i do in 2 months depends on the experiments
i been working on increasing THC and terp lvls in my stuff for last 3 months so my weight has dropped some while the thc has been increaseing just starting on mixing the combos of feeds

last 2 months i pulled in 7 plants
2 were only 3 oz and some change (grow to tall so i had to under feed them)
3 were really good 5 ozs just short of 6
2 were 4 just shy of 5 by a few grams

Why don't you buy a smaller tent or use what you have to house a mother.. throw a sheet over it for the leaks..buy a 4x6 tray for the two 600s . You don't even need the 1000 watt you can probably make it happen with just the 600s and 1 of those led's for the mom and clones. Run sog you'll save a shitload of energy and get more bud.. you can run something that finishes in 60 days. Stagger your plants

ok the room is 11x12x7 1 door in no vents a drop ceiling and 1 window
i poly wrapped the walls killing all drafts and other things (taped the socket cuts to walls)
3x3x5 dry tent
4x4x6 veggie
5x5x7 flowering
the left over is where i store the feed/water bucket (ro water for hydro experiment this round)
the t5 light is hanging from the ceiling when in use it is lowered down to be 8 inches over the seedling until i get the first true leaf then to veggie .....6 days every 14 to 21 days

as for energy the whole room is controlled with one 5000 window shaker(as it is winter i am about to kill the AC and let the natural temp do the work)lower part of room is 63 upper is 68 ....the air that comes out of veggie tent i use to dry my fan leaves and clippings when not doing that it is dumped into the drop ceiling so it can pass to next room and warm it .......the whole intake for the room is a 12x12 hole in the door with a lvl 10 filter on it the exhaust is a 400 cfm carbon

maybe with a couple thousand years of evolution
but as it stands today, you cant do that with cannabis...

ive had huge autos, many equatorial sats go by age not daylength, even at like 20/4 or something ..obviously the sun doesnt vary too much along the equator. and some take ~5months just to flower.
can get some beasts

Mainlinging is training a t shaped stem pointing upward or growing upward nothing to do with needles it's your basic manifold .. Then you can top and super crop and vegg longer

what is

i can not think of a more advanced skill ......i have heard about ppl doing it .....using that trick to enter a solo cup grow contest

the idea will work but i need to have a better understanding of what the plant is passing in it's own vein/stalks ....so asking others what they have tried is first step in any experiment

i have a idea for delivery system that would remove a few of my ?s but still need to know what others have tried
holy shit that first post made my day
