Are bud trimmers worth it?

Now what do you do to clean all the goo off the machine?
The trim is now almost worthless for hash and reduced value to extraction....

many of my buddies have got into these

the bottom line is .....its still early days,

as many models are quickly replaced

by cheaper and more efficient upgrades

already I've been blasted for blowing of the trim

which to my surprise is what the customers claim hold all the flavor ...lol

back east they don't like American style 'cut' buds'

youtube is your friend

good luck

We don't run the machine too long, just to knock off the bigger leaves. We still hand trim after they come out......everybody is happy
Looks like something from ur laundry wheres the cutting blades in this model...?

It really, IMO, depends on the quantity your doing. I haven't used my trim pro in 10 years and do it all by hand now. Back in the day I was doing 50-100 or more plants and with out it I would have lost product, apart from hiring people I could never have done it. Now just growing as a hobbie its not needed and 3-4 hours with me and the girl friend, we can knock off a couple of pounds. We don't trim the small crap and it gets made into shatter. The trim pal looks nice, the trim pro wasn't the most gentle of trimmers but got rid of the big stuff and munched up a bit of the small stuff but again it's all about quantity versus quality.

depends how much you pull if you pulling . if you use those nasty cheap trimmers you (WILL ) be disappointed ! it will nock the good looking crystals right off ! best trim is to hand trim . then second best is a trim pro unit works very well

I personally use this model . compare it to hand trimming ,

^^^^yup they work great for the initial wet trim and then it's a matter of cleaning up the buds. As for knocking of the tricked I don't think that is an issue because the buds are wet. If you try doing it after the buds are dry then yup it will probably knock the shit out of it and it doesn't work anywho. When your doing 50 + plants bag appeal is not priority #1 lol.

ive used some of those cheaper brands and the hand crank ones. I would pass . if this is your personal smoke go for it . if you need to donate them then hand trim . or better yet . use the machine on those smaller buds off the bottoms of the plants and hand trim the bigger buds. yes they need to be wet . and even wet those machines nock off the crystals they are just to ruff . the trim pro was almost hand manicure looking .

I wouldn't use one of these. One of my buddies bought one for roughly $2,000 and only used it a couple times. The bud is just worse and the wax from the trim is garbage.

I actually think that trimpro is what he bought. He was kicking himself a couple months later.
The trim pro is just a table with a razor blade sharp knife, as for knocking of the triches, they don't. Now the ones that tumble the stuff would probably, that's how I make my hash lol. Also how could the wax be any different than just using shake? I made lots of extract using the cut and never had an issue. As I said IMO there great if you need one and by that I mean if you have quantity and bag appeal is not a priority. I harvest 6 plants at a time and never pull it out now. Sometimes I give it some serious thought though lol.

Ya now that one I would be concerned about triches being damaged a bit but never actually tried the bud moving types, just the table, they can cut the tips of your finger off though if your a bit clumsy, and trust me don't drop your scissors in it, all hell breaks loose lol.

Guess it all depends on how much a person is trimming right ?? i am 100 percent positive there are grows out there that that would make some of the big grows online look mickey mouse but then again your dealing with organized crime with unlimited funds in the billions
so what does a guy do hand trim couple tons of weed ?? pay someone ?? or both and cut trimming time buy 70 percent if it was me trimmer all the way rather then month more or 2 trimming :)
