Hot Shot No Pest Strips. Do They Kill Spidermite Eggs Too?

if you have luck controlling mites with ladybugs, you'd be the first.
I mean this with the utmost respect, I just have NEVER seen ladybugs good for anything... unless your goal is to fill your light-hood with dead bugs.. those things are dumb as hell
I used em for a year straight. They rock. Sure you have to keep em in the fridge and let out one or two hundred every couple days, and sweep up their little red skittlelike bodies off the floor but never a web and no damage unless i ran out for a couple weeks. I just got a free gallon of nukem but when its done im getting em for my new grow too. Ive had stellar results. How many bugs did you use in how big of an area?

i'll be damned..
I tried it like five times... totally didn't do a thing at all, they didn't seem to like the mites at all.
You are lucky man, I wish it were that simple for me

You never said how many square feet your lookin at doing. What i use now is an atomizer. For spraying mosquito ponds i guess. It can be used in flower cause its not gasoline powered, electric.. I talked to some guys lately and they told me this is yesterdays news. The hip cats are spraying with paint sprayers. Ya, no shit. I guess itll give you better coverage than this and use less of your product..
And fuck me monkey, i know you know how to run a paint sprayer ;) im gonna stick with this cause i dont have a big air tank but if you try it tell me how the fuck it works ok? image.png

ohh my friend...
been there, in fact that's the exact model I have.
Me and mites go back a ways..its a damn good fogger, just gotta remember to run two tanks of water through it after, and makes sure it doesn t go dry (its actually a bit too strong, but works awesome)
And my grows are small, my vege is 6x8
and my flower is 10x10
miticides, peppers, lavender (kicks ass on russets, but two spots laugh at it), eucalyptus, tea tree oil (kicks ass on the eggs), azidachtrin, cold pressed neem oil, mighty wash, dr doom (pyrethrin), "no spider mites" (works well on russets if you add tea tree oil to it), clean leaf (works awesome on everything EXCEPT mites)..
I've tried it all man...
Oh and all those were fogged, I got "mechanic hands" so spraying a bottle 74,561 times isn't my idea of fun after wrenching on steel all day
But yea man, I got that fogger three or four years ago at least.
Honestly my problem isn't KILLING the mites, it's keeping them from moving back in.The redwoods are just inundated with various mites, two spots, a weird small brown one, russets, and some other black type that is a bitch.
So I only can hope to minimize them.
The analogy I use is this, its sorta like combatting food poisoning when you keep eating tiny bits of rotten food each day...

Im not sure if no pest strips will work after a 4 year infestation lol might need some serious steps bro, the strong will survive.
yeah liked I mentioned, I'm spraying every inch of the rooms and equipment with hot water and bleach. The pest strips are just a little more help. Don't get me wrong I'm still worried lol. I do all my trimming upstairs in my house too which makes me wonder how many lurking around up there as well:cuss:.

Give it a good douching, vinegar n water through a sprayer on everything from ceilings to floors. I've never sprayed plants but I spray everything else, pots, fans etc.

Your doomed, I had a case of mites once "noticed" I said once. I whipped up a batch of that Mexican spicy pepper spray, sprayed everything including plants for almost 2 weeks it seemed liked they enjoyed it more than kill them. I tried the strips as mentioned above but they make eggs faster than they were dying. I searched on this website for a solution ... I came across a thread ... SNS209 you guys look it up great for any bugs, You add it to every watering, its soaked up through the roots that deter the bugs from eating your plants when they start doing do. It's safe to use and if you have any doubts you can flush it out. Hang the pest strips for a couple of weeks to kill the mites hatching, when you notice no mites .. take out the pest strip, I've been home growing for a long time and I've never had a bug problem since. When you hang the strips, turn off any fans you have going, close any doors or openings and let them suckas die

I've used Hot Shot No Pest strips to kill thrips. (I'm looking forward to trying SNS 209. Just learned of it the other day.). But, those strips are especially toxic to pets. The vapors are heavier than air and collect at the floor.

Hate to see anyone's pet harmed because it's breathing different air than the owner does.
