Pro-Mix HP and BX have no nutrients. Their good for about a week. Which Pro-Mix. What does the bag say about nutrient content?

The reason I asked which one was because I didn't think HP or BX would support plants reaching the size of yours (they make consumer bags with nutrients, so I thought you must have one of those.).

Now I'm confused. It seems you're saying those are 5 days old? That's pretty good growth for 5 days from sprout.

But, I'm even more confused when you say you water them every two days (when they're only 5 days old). And, when it has vermiculite and holds water longer.

So, yes, if the plants have grown 5 days, when I used PM HP by itself, I started feeding 1/4 strength around 5 days old. 1/2 strength the next couple times, then full. (Not "label directions" full, but what I consider full).

But, I don't know if your problem is deficiency. If they'd been growing for 10-12 days, I was going to say that's what it could be. But, at 5 days, and watering every two days, and the peat having vermiculite (which I think is a bad idea unless you're under HID's radiant heat), maybe your problem is overwatering?

It's one or the other. If it's not overwatering, I think it will be. (Are you under HID? Maybe it's not a problem.).

Thanks, that makes sense. Sounds like nutrient def. Pro-Mix HP/BX only have enough for a week. You're almost 2 weeks. What nutrients did you buy?

BX makes sense under hid. Vermiculite makes me nervous because people usually overwater. It adds to that problem. Are they almost paper light (weight) when you water them? (They should be.).

Yes they are dry when I water, I'm using. Advanced nutrients a and b 2 parts for veg 2 for flower, in flower I also use big bud and bud candy

Not sure how cbuts feels about it, but it's better to start your own thread. You might want to report your own post and ask a mod to move it. (The soil looks too hot. I see nute burn, maybe overwatering.).

Cbuts, regarding using anything else. I would stick with your AB. A lot of the "collect them all" bottles are snake oil. Keep it simple and focus on the actual NPK ratio produced by the bottles you use. The AB should be enough. Eventually you can fine tune it, but you don't need cartoon-labeled bottles sold at a premium. Any inexpensive high-PK product can be used for "Big Bud." Just use enough to get NPK ratio 1-2-2 late in flower. Ordinary table sugar is all you need for "Bud Candy." 1/8 tsp/gal. It just feeds the soil microbes and helps them make nutrients available to the plant.

A fulvic/humic product like Botanicare Liquid Karma is beneficial. It helps produce a healthy microbiology in the root zone. AK Fish helps that way too in veg (adding some N). AK Kelp too. I use it in late flower. It seems to help make dense nuggets. (It can make my plants stretchy in veg. But, my Grow More Sea Grow already has kelp, so that could be to too much growth hormone from too much kelp.).

The idea is to be aware of what you're using. A lot of the boutique, cannabis-specific "lineups" are designed to keep you in the dark about that. Lock you into a proprietary schedule-based system.

see im kind of new at this, its my 3rd time, and i want to start to improve if i can.

im using sensi grow 2 part for flower and big bud and bud candy like i said, maybe you could help me some up with a better formula?

also edubs, for germination ive done the same thing 3 times and it has worked.
1. goto dollarstore and buy cheesecloth and sandwich container
2. let jug of water sit 24 hrs, ph it down to correct ph lvl
3. put in spray bottle
4. soak cloth on both sides by spraying it til it JUSt starts dripping ( or just before )
5. lay 1-2 layers of it inside the sandwich container
6. place 5 seeds in each container spread out not close to sides
7. fold over another 1-2 layers of cheese cloth
8. put lid on sandwich container
9. put containers in a cubboard wrapped in a towel for 1.5-2.5 days
