Clone question (days 4)

this is my first clone,has been 4 days,hydroponics,30min off 5 min on,humidity99%,20W CFT light,some leaves began to turn black,tree stem start whit,is start rooting or death

keep your water under 74 f and do no shut the water off run it 24/7 ph water no nutrients . 18/6 light under a small lamp cfl . also stick more of the stem into the cloner plant is so tall any ways don't hurt to put an inch at least into the pucks .

24/7 at a stable temp is best ...yeah I go no nute too, after all its only for 10 days max

no nubes by day 6 change the water ...

I do use RO water tho

and I go 24/7 with the pumps too

30 min off, 5min on is referring to a pump I'm assuming? Is your setup hydro or aero? If the leaves are turning yellow-brown and curling, you're having some rot issues. Black, I haven't seen before, but definitely shouldn't happen if the conditions were ideal. It doesn't mean that they won't eventually root anyway, but it can add some days to the rooting process and ultimately leads to weaker plants. I'm no authority on hydroponic cloning, but I use enzymes to resist rotting in rockwool cloning. Other than that, make sure your methods of taking cuts are sound. There are a couple of great threads on here for cloning procedures.

yes 18/6 or 24/7 depending on your environmental factors . if you have the perfect set up then 18/6 my experience . I used to do 24/7 actually done a side by side end result damn near the same root growth . now if you want to get spiffy put those under a small purple led watch the rooting explode

thank you for help,everybody!^^their roots is out,i dont know my clone bucket is what kind of system name,i use one submersible pumps and spray head inside the bucket,until now,also 30 min off ,5 min on
